Haha... I'm down. I'll once again bring my 1/2 stock rim 1/2 aftermarket rim CL. I just called on friday and they still don't have 1 damn rim. Buying new rims are out of the question too.

 

where would the meet be. i would like to join the fun.

 

I don't know what the movie theatre situation is like in NOVA.

The Regal in Rockville, MD is pretty nice. It's right on the 'Pike practically.

If that's too far north, someone mention some place else and how to get to it.

I'm thinking around a 4 or 5pm meet. Maybe get some food, then movie around 7pm? Too early? Too late?

Actually somewhere in md sounds good. since I always make people from md come to va, only fair to have the va peeps go up to md for a change. Regal sounds good.

 

Cool. It's really easy to get to from NOVA too - just take 495 North and exit onto 355(Rockville Pike) North. Go up the Pike for like 15mins, past Montrose/Randolf, past Norbeck, and it's up the road a little on your left (Better directions will be given for anyone who doesn't know where it is - just ask.)

Is it further up north ?

I say we all meet around 6:30~7:00 get some food then go watch the movie since most of the moives start around 9~10.
Now taking votes for movie theather. arundel mills theather or regal at rockville.

 

I dunno where that other theatre is either.

Hey guys, regal sounds good, arundel mills is way too far for us, all the way near BWI.

 

hey is there a place to meet around there? I need more info so I can cross post this in the club event and also on the acura-tl and acura-tl type S section.

 

Anyone know a restraunt or parkinglot that will hold a bunch of us?

 

Uhm, there's a lot of stuff around there but I can't think of a good place to meet. Someone else pick a place near the Regal beforehand.

There's a lot right across the street from the Regal lot that should be empty (on Middle Lane). It's used by County employees during the weekday and is empty on the weekends. After you can either cross the street and walk through the Regal lot or drive over.

 

July 6 is my birthday! I'll be 23. I'm in Ocean City, MD for vacation. Right on the shore. I love the beach! First chance I get to move to CA I'm taking it... Earthquakes be damned!

Yeah, that's the one. If you go up that street you'll see they only tore out half the lot. From Rockville Pike it looks like it's all gone. Maybe they ripped the rest out, but the last time I looked it was all there. I'll check on my way home today.

I'm almost positive the lot is still intact that it could hold everyone (unless 100's of people showed).

Well I checked the county lot across from the Regal and it's still there (you just can't see it from Rockville Pike). If the meet is at the Regal, this lot seems like the most logical place.

 

I second the Regal.

Once you make a left off of the 'pike onto the road, on your left should be a parking lot and the movie theatre at the top end, and on your right is some construction and another parking lot. The lot by the construction is where we meet.

Look for a bunch of cl and tl's.

Time : 6:30~7:30

sorry guys... won't be able to make it... my friend is getting married and i have to attend the reception... let me know how the movie is...

 

sounds good, that lot is usually where i park when i go to reagal for movies, the main lot is way too crowded.

 

Due to the construction you can't turn onto Middle Lane from Rockville Pike, if you're coming that way. It's no big deal as you can go around the block, but Middle Lane is blocked from the Pike.

If you're coming from 270 then it doesn't matter since you'll coming from a different direction.

 

I'm game. I'll try to coax the other TL guys to come too, but we'll see.

 

Nice. The more the better. Plus a line of Acuras in the parking lot would just be pimp.
