HELP! My engine is leaking oil where it meets the tranny.
Right were the engine meets the tranny I'm leaking oil. I think it may be the rear mail seal. Anyone else had this problem? I'm only at 27,000 miles. This thing shouldn't leak a drop. I absolutely HATE leaving my car at the dealership!

I had an oil leak (in my other car) where you described and it was indeed the rear main seal. Looking through the CL service manual though, I don't see anything named "rear main seal" but I do see a "crankshaft oil seal" that's in the same area. judging by the pics in the manual, you'd need to pull the transmission to get to it. You're always welcome to borrow the manual if you want to check it out.
