I would do the Nov 18th meet but I work every Sunday and I have to have 30 days prior to request a day off at work 
If you guys want more responses from the Chicago people you're going to have to start PM'ing people from the old meet threads. That is the only way that we get the amount of response that we do.

Any where in Chicago is fine. I would really like to do a drive like the skyline meet, any winding strip in/around Chicago? And by title I meant may be we should get it changed to Midwest or something more generic.

well, where is this thing gonna be? I dont have the TL anymore, but MAYBE I'll come terrorize in the new ride depending on what time and where. Sundays are tough till later in the afternoon for me. I could possibly be there by 2 or 3 at the latest....

yeah sounds good...i had a meet in 2005 i think it was...i had to PM like 45 people to get 13 people to show up...so do your research and start PMing...sorry, im too busy to do that
Skokie Lagoons--8 winding sweepers in the north burbs, and theres the parking lot next door where we lined up, took photos, talked bout the Acks in '05...(thats right off of the I-94, either get off on willow road, winnetka illinois or dundee road glencoe illinois if you guys wanna take a look at a map)
also theres glencoe beach which shouldnt have many cars in its big parking lot on sunday, but dont quote me...also you can drive your car down to take pics on the beach...(thats off of sheridan and park avenue, glencoe illinois).
OR we could meet at the parking lot of skokie lagoons, then cruise for 10-20 mins to glencoe beach and park again?? cruise would be 4 of the sweepers, and the best part of sheridan!!! so many curves!!!! yeah thatd be nice right there...[again to give a sense of it, this is in north chicago suburbs on the lake, about 25ish miles north of downtown chicago...)

ummm, yeah definitely just looked at a map, those 2 places fit together very nicely and those are my absolute, hands down favorite roads in the north suburbs...so unless you have to see the city, maybe here??
cuz we can all take the I94 to get to the lagoons which are right off of the expressway...like second you exit [willow would be the better exit], the parking lot next to the lagoos is RIGHT there... then short cruise which i can make longer, if need be, trust me! lol

What about 17th? I have lot of people not able to make it becauase its Sunday esp the ones driving from out of state. I personally will take Monday off but I can understand its hard for a lot of people to drive back for Monday. Is it possible to move it to Saturday if that suits more people? I am fine either way and location sounds fun!

sunday is better for me...but thats only one vote for sunday. saturday for me is a 95%, cuz usually i can get off of work easily! so either one should be fine...
its obvious, but make sure we get the day when more can show up...even if its like 5 cars, itd still be cool for sure, but hopefully more than that!
ill contact one more person if he can make it: johntypes, you might have heard of him on here, his CL is my favorite in the sleeper category!

skokie lagoons sounds good to me.
we can go to either glenco beach or tower beach or gilson... gilson has a big parking lot too.
lets set the meeting point at the lagoons parking lot. which lot though, the one on tower road right after you cross over I94?
I say wee keep it sunday, sounds like more people will be able to make it then... sorry if some of you cant

i was thinking the one on willow road between the highway and the skokie lagoon entrance on willow. tower gets a little confusing for people from out of state. i was thinking get off on willow and just go straight to the parking lot east of the highway, and west of the lagoons entrance...just for ease sake.

ok cool.
for all of you out of towners... heres a map of where we are talking about
map of meet location
if you are coming from the south (from downtown or I-90 into I-94) then you'll just exit on Willow Road and turn left at the 1st street.
If you are coming from the North (most of you going through Milwaukee will be coming in from 294 and merging into I-94) You will need to exit on Tower Road, turn left at the exit stop light onto the Frontage Rd, you'll pass a BMW and Jeep dealership, then the road curves right and turns into Central. The stop light ahead is Willow Road so turn Left on Willow, go over the highway and then a left right after on Cherry.
map for people coming in from the North
Anyone coming from MN will probably be taking 39 south (right past Madison... maybe I'll see you on my way down) then I-90 to 294. Then you'll take 294W (youre going north though) up to Willow Road and take a right on willow and go east all the way through Glenview/Northbrook to where you'll drive over I-94 and then make the left on Cherry.
Map for people coming in from the West (MN guys)
Hope that helps everyone... I grew up about 5 min away from here so PM me if you have any questions on directions.

Do you mean exit 33B off 94 to Willow Rd? I don't see any parking lot right off that exit. At least not on Google Maps. From east of 94 to Green Bay Rd where exactly is the parking lot?

use the satillite view and you'll see it off cherry street. its more of 1 row of parking spots than a lot.

ok just know the parking lot is right next to the expressway! [the I94] you can't miss it, you exit 94, head east and look for the curved tiny strip of road leading to a parking lot right away...DO NOT head by green bay road, bout 5-10 mins too far. lol
just go exactly to that cherry street on the map, youll be in the one lLONG row of parking
