I'm up for it. I tried about 2 months ago for a GTA/Windsor/Detroit meet and only got 1 response. Turn-out for these meets is usually only a couple of cars. We could set one up for our standard location in Windsor- those of us from the States would need a birth certificate to cross the border. Or we could find a place in Detroit.

its really up to you guys, the only thing is that i'm most likey not gonna have a car up there, and as for a location, i could throw a dart at a map and see where it lands....
also i'm going up on a saturday 17th, and leaving the following saturday 24th, so i would like to have the meet on sunday the 18, that way its still on the weekend and not getting in the way of thanksgiving stuff....

peeps in chicago are tryin to orginize a meet too... we should all get together somewhere.
chicago seems like the best middle ground for the great lakes meet.
minn/stpaul - 4.5hrs
detroit - 4.5hrs
indy - 3 hrs
madison - 2hrs
milwaukee - 1.5 hrs
sound fair to everyone?

You don't get 56000 miles in 2-1/2 years by not driving! This year alone, shows in Chicago, Cleveland 3x's, Atlanta. I might still do it, but the last Chicago meet I left at 6 AM and returned at 1 AM next day. For me to start work Saturday at 6AM till whenever, then leave for Chicago Sunday at 6 and get back Monday at 1 and start work on Monday at 8 
. But ask anybody on AZ, I work my ass off for AZ and ACUSA, and to meet everyone I can, so put me down for a HELL YEAH!

umm the whole point of me trying to put together this meet was to have it in michigan because that where i'm flying to....if guys switch it up to anyday that fom the 17-24 i'm not going to be able to go, especially if its in chicago.....

How many people are up for a Chicago meet. There are couple from Minnesota willing to drive. If there is a big number I am willing to drive but a total of 4 people?

Woodfield Mall or Busse Woods are two locations from past meets that worked out well.

woodfield sounds good... Portillos anyone? On the other hand maybe the great lakes meet should be on one of the great lakes... Maybe Evanston beach or gilson beach in wilmette??? You guys tell me but we should probably have a moderator put the date in the thread title.

This seems like we are getting some where. A date would be nice to the thread title. Great Lakes hmmm does that cover IL and WI too? When I was in Kalamazoo Great Lakes only meant Michigan

What about people from IA and IN?well i think Taz said hes comin up from indianapolis and iowa isnt on the great lakes but hell... why stop there, lets just make it a "midwest" meet. honestly anyone willing to come is fine with me... lets just get EVERYONE on azine to come and we'll drive from joilet down route 66 to california.

Last couple of meets were at Wilson Skate Park right on the lake. You guys from Chicago let the rest of us know where a good place would be. Right on the lake might get pretty chilly. I'm down for anywhere- I have NAVI.

yeah i know where that is... i was saying instead of going downtown because of all the construction we could do something on the lake in the near north burbs.
