I'd like to thank all those involved for getting this meet setup. You guys did a great job. The location was excellent....tons of room and wideopen spaces, plus easy to get into and out. I was equally impressed by the attitude and deamenor shown by many of the attendees.

After 7 1/2 years of owning my TL, I was finally able to take it to another meet. I'm glad I was able to meet a few of you guys today, and I look forward to seeing more of you in the future.

I've got more pics that can be found HERE .

-Randy

Hope this works. Go to Limewire, search for "socaltheblockmeet" movie file (should be 922MB mpg file). I'm trying to share the 2.8G file (avi) but so far not successful yet.

and yes salut, you still win the "gun metalist" (doubt that's a word) rims for 3rd gen and someone needs to bring a portable potty next time

W1n as always a pleasure seeing you...

I pledge now that if I go to another meet I WILL get the "gun metalist"??? award again... hehe

about the outhouse... It was nice to have such a huge parking lot to ourselves... but the toilet would be an issue to contend with...

thanks to everyone for the nice pics and the vid. i'm ready for the next meet.

Sup bro? I was looking for you too, but everytime me and my friends looking at the CL-s spot, theres nobody around. I saw two guys sitting in their car but thats about it. Sounds like a good idea, once a month meet here in SD, as long as I dont have any duty, count me in.

GREETINGS to all my brothers from another Mother.

I am so Pissed that I couldn't make this meet. I wanted to go so bad!

Man Win sorry I flaked man but I woke up feeling like
and after I talked to you I pretty much slept the whole day away.

I am still not 100% so its good I didn't go or I woulda just been spreading my sickness around.

I am glad the meet turned out good.

Win: I am looking into a spot where we can have a meet, if you guys are willing to fork out a little Cash we can even reserve an area and BBQ there. We can hold a super meet there, BBQ, playball , bring a DJ... the sky is the limit!
I will give you more details later. (It even has restrooms)
But it has to be in Spring when no rain is in the forecast.

Hey Joe, Hope you get well soon! There are still many meets upcoming this year and BBQ sound good!

For those whose interest in higher quality video, go to this link to download. Again, the deal is only 25 download and the link will be stop. This file is big (922MB) so if you have 56K, don't even think to attempt to download this file. It freaking took me almost 7 hrs to upload!
http://s22.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1...71W7Y8XHI4BXO1

NiteQWill: if you could upload to your site, that will be great! If anyone else can host this file to share with others, please do. Thanks in advance.

For those whose has slow internet, you can still download lower resolution of the meet at the Block by go to here, courtesy of NiteQWill. It's only 50MB or so. http://www.phytte.com/acura/Movie.wmv

Thumbs up

Hey guys, sorry I havent posted my pictures yet... been really busy. Looks like others have covered pretty much everything though Will def try to get them up tomorrow night (prepare for full 8mp of our group shot )

Big thanks to everyone who helped out with the organization/prep before and at the meet. I apologize if I was being a bit rude and affronted while trying to get everyone in place for the group photo... it's tough with so many cars/people and no megaphone!

Also gotta check out that 900mb video soon.
Had a GREAT time, stayed tuned for some of my shots...

I was thinking of PCH drive, but don't really know how long we should drive and where to find a parking place enough for large # of cars without paying parking fee. It seems that not much people would like to cruise on that day so I never brought it up.

Like Sccpu3d said, we might plan to have 2 meet location, one for the main meets, then cruising to 2nd location for pics, but the problem is that not many place can accomodate large # of cars after a short "exciting" cruise on the weekend. Anybody knows a good place beside Angeles Crest? and um, BBQ at the park sound good
