Would you guys going to Leg 1 in Rockville like to meet at White Flint mall or in front of Sports Authority? (where the big "car show"gathering is every Fri./Sat.)

I rather meet in front of the Sports Authority Parking lot. I'm in! What time???

Next to the UMD charity meet, this was one of the best ive been to.

Meeting in front of Sports Authority is cool mith me. What time are we supposed to meet?

Sports Authority it is for the meeting spot and I would say be there about 10:30- 11:00. What do you guys think?

And if for some reason the MAMM is not a good turnout we can put together and make a donation to the same charity for the boys and girls club.

Remember, if you go to Skyline Drive it's $15 per car. Also you might want to pack at lunch or eat a really big breakfast.

If any body has financial issues I would say that it would not be a good idea to make a 2 hour trip into the mountains. With that said I am still trying to arrange a meal stop somewhere. Any suggestions? Also for those who dont choose to take Skyline Dr. we will be having fun on 211 and possibly 81. Has anyone been on 81 it travels parallel to Skyline Dr.?

UNEVAKNO - haha! Well it's not so much my schedule, but my car. It's all banged up, haha! dent here, scuff there, it's just SO annoying to look at it. I'd feel bad goin to a meet and having my car look like crap.

"Skyline Drive has a posted speed limit of 35 mph. It is suggested that you observe it. Despite its apparent isolation, there are Park Police who cruise the drive. Yes, they also have un-marked cars. And like their counterparts in the valley below, they enforce laws within the park, including motor vehicle laws. And that includes speed enforcement. They are equipped with radar, and they use it. They will set up radar in rest areas and waysides. By the time you see them, it's too late. You will get a ticket, and a stern lecture about speeding on a road that is sometimes teeming with wildlife, bikers and hikers. Your best bet is to stay within the posted speed limits. Besides, with such beautiful scenery around you, WHY on earth would you want to race through it?"

So just to clarify(for the rest of the people who look as well)-

1-We're meeting up in different "legs"
2-Drive to a meet up point
3-Cruise the Skyline Drive(How long?)
4-.....?

We'll just have to make sure some people with radar detectors are out front

The meet is not a car show it is about brotherhood, the love of cars and having a good time before the planet blows up! Trust me we all have dings and scratches!!! You are probably the only one that sees them! And your car Im sure looks better than half the TL's out there! so dont let that keep you from coming.

We all know this I am sure and we truly appreciate the information.

First off (this is for everyone) THIS NOT A RACE and if you choose to go thru Skyline Dr. we will obey the speed limit. For those who want to take 211 or 81 we may have periods of " spirited driving " and so will the other car clubs that ride thru that road. We are not the only ones who come out to drive our cars. Its your choice and as adults those who choose to will in turn deal with the consequences. If you do not have the driving skill, equipment or ability to drive in this manner do not allow your ego to cause harm to others and your car. And when I say "equipment" I mean do not try to push stock suspension/tires to limits your car can not handle. We want to all go home in one piece just like last time. We will have look outs and radar detectors. Its simple people.........use your brain.

As for the Legs 1-4 and meet points they are one in the same. And are posted on previous pages. We will finalize them sometime in Oct. And the length of time we stay or travel Skyline Dr. usually is about a 1 hour or 2 if stops are made. Just make a day out of it. You will get home before 10 pm. If you have to be home before the street lights come on well you may have to leave early.

I'm not goin 130 like I did last time I cruised with az people so if anyone who's leavin from arundel mills wants to go fast I can leave early and be a spotter for you all
