Connecitcut 2nd kickoff meet ...Oct. 20

ok guys ...

The CT meet will be held Saturday, Oct. 20th at the Commuter Parking lot located at the south side of the DOT building on the Berlin Turnpike (US5 + CT15) at 1PM. At the conclusion of the meet, many attendees will travel to Hooters, which is 3.5 miles north of the site. Everyone is invited to attend.

Ok, so who is going which day?

I can make it this saturday (13th), but not next (20th).

How many people are going this saturday? If it's only 2 people, then that's not really a meet. Plus, its over an hour from here to burlin turnpike. kchen, how many others are going besides you and me?

 

You guys should not change the date on my account, and you should only have it on one weekend.

It's not fair to those who have planned on going on a set date.
It also does not make sense to have one on consecutive weekends.

I would suggest keeping the original date and the heck with us who can't make it. If it turns out that 4 guys are there on one weekend, and 4 the next, then what is the point?

Left that way, no one will show up either day!

Hey, I did make it to the DOT building yesterday, but no one was there. I was running a little behind, I guess you guys didn't have many people. I drove through hooters and saw 2 TL's (black one and a silver one) parked in the back, I figured that was the extent of the meet. Oh well, maybe next time.

 

there were 8 ppl there, not many though.
5 cars , including yours will be 6.
we all took off from parking lot toward hooters around 2:10pm ..
3 cars left at that time. So only CT99TL , my friends and I went hooters.
By the way, I saw your car drove by the front door of hooters.......
when I walked out, I saw you disappear............ ..
sigh ......

well, maybe just like what you said...... next time then..

I'm supposed to go visit my cousin up at UCONN on the 20th, so since its on my way I'll try to make it.
Not sure what time I'm going up there though so its not definite.

Sounds good man. I am going to try my best to make it. It sounds like there are alot of TL's that are going to be there but how about some CL's. Im the owner of a CL and i would like to see what other people have done to there rides. But either way it should be fun. Hope to see you then.

if you know someone who drives the CL and they'd like to show up... hey hey ..welcome to bring them with you.

 

FYI, I don't think 2002TL is going to make it and I still haven't heard back from JeffTL.

Bad news guys! I have to work Saturday (last minute notice) and I can't get out of it. I know this sucks because I really want to get to one of these meets and check out some rides and I promised a few I'd help out with the fog light mod. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, it looks like I've gotta go to the next one. And it doesn't matter if it's closer to Boston or Hartford (although I'd rather go to CT). Eventually I *will* make it to one of these and I *will* help those who need it with the fog light mod. Sorry guys (and gals)....
