Columbia Maryland Car Meet Sunday August 12th
Attention all car enthusiasts! Autokrats will be holding a "Back To School" meet on Sunday August 12th at 7PM. The meet will be a simple get together for many of us who are longing for one last large meet before school starts up in the fall. Unfortunately we could not get support from HCC or UMD in order to use their lots this summer. However with your help we can have one last large meet before summer is over!
If you haven't heard about us we are a car club out of Columbia, MD founded in 2004 out of River Hill High. Since January of 2005 we have been promoting the gathering of all automotive enthusiasts from around the area for large monthly meets in order to spread automotive unity. In November of 2005 we held our largest meet yet of 350+ cars. We are hoping to meet if not exceed this number for this meet, help us do so!

What: Back To School Meet
When: Sunday August 12th at 7:00PM
Where: The Park N' Ride Off of Rt. 32 and Broken Land Parkway
Why: One last Car meet before the summers end!
Directions:
Take 29 South from Rt 100, Rt 99, Rt 40 and get off at Exit 16A Onto Rt. 32 East
Take 32 East and get off at Exit 14A onto Broken Land Parkway.
Turn left or right at the light after crossing over the bridge and park in one of the lots.

From Clarksville, Ellicott City, Columbia, and points North and West --

lol ok cool.. i shall see what happens... i think i might be able to come with a 3g tl, fd, a z, wrx and a 300zxtt but right now its 50/50....

Awesome guys! Also just got an update from the ferrari forums, there will be a few coming, possibly up to 10 of them.
This is definitely going to be a very large meet.

haha yea.. i was with 2 3g's a e36 and a silver Dak.
i was sad to have not seen a SINGLE 2gCL-s/... let alone i brought the majority of the TL's with me haha....
saw a ton of Evos and Stis which isnt always bad,.... we need to have more meets... in the MD area for sure!
it was good seeing y ou Lance a freindly Azine face haha.... but yea i was sad no other 2g 3g gyuys were showing up./... maybe nexttime!

as for sat night man i was soooo drunk off Patron i put on my shoes and grabbed my keys and my wallet...told myself i was gona sit down for like 5 min to sober up and next thing i know it was 5am...and that was at 1am! man i was dun...but ill def b out this weekend...i may get dynoed and tuned as well..or tints lol

We are happy to report that the turnout of the August 12th "Back To School" Meet was a big success and we are very happy with it. A Big thanks to all of you that came to the meet and brought friends! We hope that you had a good time, and will join us in the future.
Just to recap, we almost fully filled the one lot (325 spaces) with cars around 7:30-8, with 400+ cars in and out throughout the night. We are also happy to report that while at the meet we met and talked with a few of the police officers there and they have given us sanction to use the lot for our meets. As long as everyone is responsible like at the last meet and there is no racing or burn outs (being stupid) in the lot, we are always welcomed there.
