You guys may remember me from the first Boston meet last May :-) Anywya, I live right near there and I can tell you the Bradlees lot is DEAD! There are cars on one side of it, but you will have plenty of room unless 500+ cars show up Also, the secondary lot at the theater that Janda mentioned is a possibility during the day on a Sunday because I have only seen it full on Fri/Sat nights. Another place to consider....Actually one where we (Boston Audi Group) have considered is Chi-Chis. I called their manager and told him our plan and he was psyched! Plus there are cold Margi's and a pool table in the bar. The BAG normally meets in the lot of Tweeter on Route 9....Right across from where we had the first "Acura Sucks...Ford Rules" meet last year....Only those who attended will get this....Here are a few pics from the Tweeter gathering....there was room for 50+ cars plus UNO's sat all of us :wow:
http://www.bostonaudi.org/album/87_lunch12/

If nothing is going on, maybe I'll stop by for old times sake.

Chi-Chi's is a GREAT suggestion. Chips & Margaritas? What could be better?

BTW, for those of you not familiar with the area....Chi Chi's is on Route 30, about 30 seconds from the Bradlee's lot. They have quite a large lot themselves that is never full.

Thanks for the info and of COURSE we remember you! not your gig and not your car anymore but you should swing by at least for the margaritas!

I was in the area and stopped by the old Bradlees lot. It looks like the right half at least is being used as a Logan express park n' go lot. Still plenty of room on the left and around the side.

OK. Next Sunday at 2:00!!

Hey I just did my CD/radio with super red LED for the buttons and LCD. I can't believe how awesome it looks at night!! It looks 10x better than the BMW!! I can't wait to show you at night!! I don't want to show you the pic in here because the camera does not show you the real color.

copland is right - the whole left side is wide open - though I think it lacks je ne sais quois of the former caldor's site

Now we have to hope for good weather.

I have a 1st gen TL and I am trying to get my mods done before the meet though it does not seem as though it is going to happen but who knows this week is my birthday and I am trying to convince people to get me parts for my car. Anyway am I going to be the only 1st gen there is what I really want to know? Also I know the area though I can't picture the bradles at all. How far is it before or after the mall?

take the Mass Pike to the Route 30/Natick Exit

Bear right after the toll booth

merge onto RT 30 and take a left at the 3rd light

---------------

from Route 9 E it's after the Natick Mall, and directly behind Barnes and Noble/Best Buy in the next shopping center

From route 9 W take a left at Borders

Dan, we would love for you to be there and I did but another TLS w/ NAV and underbody kit.

BMW74, you are always welcome, you were one of us once.

So, here is the deal...

Sunday, April 28 at 2:00PM in the old Bradlee's parking lot, let me know if you need more detailed directions.

I will make a reservation at Chi Chi's for 12 people at 5:00PM, how does that sound to everyone? If there are more people coming please let me know by Tuesday so I can make the proper arrangements.

Again, my numebr is 508-868-3327, don't be shy call me if you have any questions.

I hope to see everyone there!!

Steve

Once Walmart opens up I'm sure the parking lot there will be a nice spot to show off the cars.

Also, I have made a reservation for 12 people on Sunday the 28th at Chi Chi's. If you are bringing friends please let me know so I can add more people to the reservation.

Jon aka Oblio....

Do you have any pics from the meet last year? I had all my TL pics hosted on photopoint and when they went under my pics went them. I know I can get a CD from them, but I am just looking for a pic or two of my old car. BTW, I had the silver 01 TL w/ kit and license plate HUSKYS.

If you do, would you mind emailing them to nuhuskyfan@aol.com ?

Thanks!

Chi Chi's is Mexican, I personally have never been but BMW74 recommended the place.

I will up the reservation to 20 people, that should do it.

Even if it doesn't, the Natick Mall is nearby and they have a multi-level parking garage. In certain places it is always dark on the lower level. My suggestion would be those that are interested in seeing the dash in darker light and don't want to hang around until later could always go over in a group to check it out. Just a thought.....

AynesTL,

If his RL or CL has the same CD/radio like the 02 3.2TL than I can do.
I think the RL dashboard already has a super white light.

Don't mean to be the spoilsport, but the current forecast for Sunday in Natick is very windy with rain. Do we have a contingency plan? I'm thinking that parking garage at the Natick Mall is looking better and better if the weather is foul....

We can always go to the mall parking garage but I am afraid that there may not be enough space for everyone, but it is worth a shot.

The bad weather is a big factor, I was planning on a full detailing job for this saturday and be at the meet this Sunday.

However, if it is raining bad, it is not fun to waste the detailing job by driving 50 miles each way under heavy rain.

You should consider next Sunday as a substitue.

Although the weather will put a damper on some of the fun, I think it'll be tough for everyone to try and arrange to be there again for next Sunday, especially those of us that have to travel some distance. We've set it up already so I think it should be rain or shine. We'll just move it to the garage if it rains. I think we'll be able to find enough room at one end or the other on one of the levels, if we need to. And if the weather channel is wrong (like usual), then we'll be out in the parking lot.

I'm with j-j, LETS DO IT ! NO MATTER WHAT !

Last year it was hotter than you-know-what.
A little rain never hurt anything, and more than likely it will be fine.
You all know what a pain in the butt it is to get everyone together on a date.
