Park Directions
Cochituate State Park is located in the greater Boston area in eastern Massachusetts.
From East or West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 13, Rte. 30 east. Park is on the right.

From Mass Pike: Take the Mass Turnpike (Rt. I-90) to Exit 13 to Rt. 30 East. The park is ½ mile down on the on the right.

From Route 9: Follow Route 9 East or West to the Speen Street exit in Framingham. Go North on Speen Street. Follow Speen Street for 1 mile until you come to Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. Park is 200 yards down on the right hand side.

 

First meet of '09 lets get it!!! I'm going to go over my schedule for school tomorrow and see what is going on, but I think that is the week of spring break so I might be able to go.

I don't really know any of you, but I'm down. Whats the status on food, maybe some grilling?

 

I will be taking work off to be there. Haven't done much to my tsx yet but I will be there. I had no clue there were many people here from MA. Anyone with a Tsx?

 

what's up man, it's ususally not warm enough to grill outside....but we usually cruise over to this place called Kelly's roast beef which is 5 min drive away from the park.

 

Kdubz has a TSX.

Marblehead is about an hour away from cochichuate actually. It's right near Natick and Framingham.

 

..Yeah the trip over there is where the fun happens.. blocking traffic so a line of 45 Acuras stroll by.. classic!

You will see what Im talking about at the meeting fools (non acurazine members) racing down on the road bringing the cops to us this will b our 4th straight meeting at this same place n cops will show up there but we havent face any confrontation with them (cops). Hey, no worries! I will keep it in the low RPMS as usual. But really , the only time i've been pulled over was on labor day weekend and they pull EVERYBODY over for everthing that weekend.

Should be some good times!

Hopefully we won't have any problems with cops. I've already had a few run-ins with them and i'm not even 18 yet, and with the Massachusetts Junior Operator laws. But hopefully I can at least get my calipers painted or windows tinted by the time of the meet. I read that it should be warm out when you get the tints put on so I may not have that done yet. And speaking of cops, does anyone know anything about radars? I have my friends passport 8500(not x50) at the moment.

 

Sup man - what about radar's do you need to know? I used to have an x50.....till someone broke in my car and jacked it.....

 

I was looking at a few radars and heard mixed things about both. I was looking at the x50, valentine one and the Cobra XRS-r7. The valentine one was a little too expensive for the moment. I figured at least one person at this meet would have one of these radars and I could see what they thought of it. I was looking to get one fairly soon.

 

I have the passport 8500 x50 and its a great radar if you dont want to shell out the cash for the V1. But I've seen comparisons and my friend has one that he let me borrow and i think it was a little more accurate then the x50. Also it shows you where the radar is coming from which helps alot

 

Someone needs to get the M.I.A.'s to this thread immediately.

From what you said about your exhaust I'm guessing that you have a new exhaust? If so do you have the exhaust tips from the factory exhaust?

 

I'm actually gonna put the stock one back on soon, my shit is too loud.
