Since I was only half kidding about my bicycle helmet question on the last thread...what about downhill bike helmet, they look exactly like a motorcycle helmet and are probably almost as safe?

Event is Cancelled

Ok guys....I know that the cost of this event is the main reason of low attendees.

At this time this event is cancelled.

I think the main problem Rick was it fell in the middle of a holiday weekend. Thanks for trying Rick. It would have been fun. I think that some other weekend might have worked a lot better for most people.

To answer the question the helmets....no, helmets do not have to be DOT...but they have to be SNELL.....or I believe the European equivalent...I forget what its called. Different standards.

No worries... the aim is to provide different venue for the Bay Area Meet.

I will try and think of something cheaper...like.... Go-Kart Racing...
