Whats up everyone? First just wanted to let you all know that I find this forum very useful and informative and I appreciate everyone that posts their reviews, thoughts and useful topics.

Now to my question, well actually it's more like a poll... I live on Long Island myself and I'm really curious to know who else does and also want to know why there isn't some kind of CL rally or meet.

Every day I see car meets all over the Island and to be honest I'm starting to feel a bit left out. So if anyone from the area (doesn't have to be just LI, shit it doesn't have to be just CL's either, any Acura would do) post a reply with your location and a suggestion for a meeting place.

Unless you all just think I'm retarted for thinking about this (wouldn't be the first time).

 

There are usually meets thoughout the tri-state area every few months or so. Be patient and check the meet forum.

Hey Kiss My Type S. I actually asked a question about you a few weeks ago. I saw your car at Norman collision. I work on that block. maybe you saw my red 2002 in front of my office. The guys at Normans are the best. Timmy and gary have fixed my car twice. ( I got rearended by 18 kid in his 2002 A4 his daddy bought him) anyway. there are lots of people from LI on the board. I usually never post post or reply as you can see from my JR member status even though I joined on December 2002. my CLS is bone stock lease. Welocme aboard

 

Yea unfortunatly my car was at Normans twice last month,
1st time someone cut me off and I ended up on someones front lawn under their parked car.

2nd time 2 weeks after getting it back someone blew a stop sign and ripped off my front left corner.

Timmy and Gary are great I used to work next door to them at the sign shop there. Actually Gary owes me a detail, i gotta start bugging him again.

I didnt see a red one around but then again sometimes I 'm pretty oblivious.

Well if you know of anyone else thats interested I'm down... I have a few friends with Acura's, they'd love the idea. We can pick a spot and meet there whenever, it just gives everyone something to do. I dont know about you but I'm getting sick of the bars and clubs and I think I'm becoming an alcoholic...

It seems when we get new cars someone always got to reck them for us dont feel bad the same night i bougt my car someone ran a red light hit someone in a civic then slammed into me. I was so mad i tackled him to the floor. All charges were dropped even when i was swearing at the cops :0)

Yea i ran into you once on the road right? I asked how you cleared you headlights, hoping that you didnt say by taking them apart... I took mine apart anyway and cleared them.

how about FRANCIS LEWIS BLVD in Bayside, Queens before the Whitestone Bridge. There are a shit load of cars driving around the strip, and there is a lot of A$$ there also!!

also Thursday nights on Central avenue in Yonkers at the Nathans parking lot!!

there are shitloads of cars there, from Civics to Vipers... and a shitload of custom motorcycle!!

Parking lots are full with cars, so that is another suggestion!!

 

I'm down for whatever whenever, but to roll up with 3 of us is kinda retarded not much of a meet, Franny Lew is cool also out here on the Island theres always mad ppl on DPA (Deer Park Ave)
I know its probably pretty played out for alot of ppl but there is always alot of cars up there (not always the nicest) but your sure to find ass along with a good place to meet... theres nothing but parking lots all up and down. On a thurs nite the cops usually arent out that much so you might be able to get a race or two in.

Just take a vote... My vote is lets get it together.

altho i've set up meets at Nassau Community College in the past since the parking lot is HUGE and noone hassles u...could do that...only prob is im moving to my new shag-pad in Bayside Sunday during the day...i might b able to stop by for a lil bit tho...i'll have to see how much i can get done
