August 20th Drive to Yosemite - Fresno, CA Meet
ok fellas its time for Fresno meet again and we're gonna make it possible this time.

Main man JEFF (allout) will give you guys more details but here is something he planned.

when do you need to know by? I start summer school on teh 8th and I might have a midterm around one of those days but I wont know until I start class

If it's the 20th, I could make it but I would have to catch up with you guys since I wouldn't be able to leave sj until 9:30am... I'm not sure where we could hookup at...

If I left sj at 9:30am, it would probably take 3-4 hrs to get to the ranger gate at Yosemite... Anyone know the quickest way from sj to Yosemite?

we should all meet in Merced around 10:30am, leave merced around 11ish. So that way Gary has time to catch up to rest of us.

on Hooters...
From San Jose, the best way to Yosemite is through Merced. You'll go through Los Banos and take Highway 59 to Merced.

Jatt and I will drive to Merced which is around 45 miles from Fresno to meet everyone from NorCal rather than everyone coming all the way into Fresno. I'm thinking we can meet at the Costco parking lot in Merced (near their Gas Station)on the corner of R Street and W. 15th Street. We can hang out and take off from there up to Yosemite. From Yosemite, we can drop down into Hooters Fresno for refreshments.

Merced's Costco is always pack, I think you better off meet up by Best Buy and Lowe's are or you can actually meet by Safeway's plant. The street is fairly quite, close to the highway, and no traffic lights so we don't have to split and wait all the time.
