I don't care where we meet on any Saturday. I just want to get out and drive because I'm having cabin fever.

 

Keep me posted on the April 7th meet, that is the only weekend I am not traveling with the Race/Drift/Car Show series over the next few months.

Count us in for 2 cars, CL and TL.


TL's got a new system. CL is being painted all over as we speak.

 

4/7 is etched in stone. I am there! Re-doing my system now. Adding a 'little' more power.


My next show is in Daytona on the 23-26th if anyone is down that way I will be at the Ocean Center all weekend.

We'd probably have to plan it a couple weeks out since this weekend would be too short of a notice since the show has been rescheduled.

Guys, I may be back. I have my eyes set in an 03 TL-S with 40K miles on it. It is clean as can be. I am working out as few details (dealer promises to paint a few scratches) I should be ready for the next time we get together. Alas, I have no money for mods yet.

 

I used to see them all the time when I would hang with my friends there, but not any more. I rarely see them waiting along the shoulders on 400 just to bust you for speeding. Alpharetta and Sandy Springs are becoming like Roswell with their police presence. The parking area by the miniature golf course should be plenty big enough for us to have a mini-meet there.

Cory, glad to see that you're gettin into another TL again. I wish you luck with that and steady as she goes with mods. That's what I'm doing. :-D Next project is CarPC now that I have my tax returns back.

 

I can't wait to see that Ty. I bought the TL-S today. I have the modding fever since there is so much more that I can do to the 2nd Gen than the 1st. I am down for whatever meet we come up with.

 

Roswell definitely has a good number of cops. They even overflow into marietta when they can't find enough trouble on their turf. I see them a lot on 92.

Actually Startimes Big Parking thing in the back is really nice would shuld go there and maybe hit up a small Business building complex and Burnout and do some Straight Away Racing for Fun. lol

Whats going on everyone. It has been a while since I have been on here. For those that don't know me, mine name is Scott Armstead. I own HiFi Concepts. I am the US distributor for Sinfoni Amplifiers and the SE distributor for Hybrid Audio Technologies, and a representative for RonJon Wheels. I have been wanting to do a big event for the south for a while now, and after talking with Rondy, we will be doing one like he does up in new york or jersey. This will be for all acuras and friends, and audio competitors that want to come out and check out the systems and to take a listen to our demo car.

Our demo car will include the following equipment in which will be installed and tuned by John Marsh, Brett Nelker and Scott Buwalda: Clarion DRZ9255, Hybrid Audio Legatia 3 way set, Sinfoni 60.1s, 2 150.2s, and a 45.2, total of 5 amps. And 2 subs, trying to decide on them right now.

It will be real nice, and as far as mods, right now I have the RonJon Ground Effects, RonJon grille (painted black), 19" RonJon Devotions (Will be changing to the legends), Comptech Springs, SuperComputer Pedals, Momo shift knob, and Comptech Icebox.

I will let everyone know the exact date, and location. There will be food, and hopefully a raffle for some wheels, speakers, etc. I will let you know the details. But the raffle would be for members only. I want to make this event the biggest acurazine has seen. If you have any suggestions for location or dates, please let me know. As I will need some help with this big one.

As far as the Meca events, they are great. You meet alot of new people and are able to listen to some great sounding systems. And I want to thank Kirk for inviting the acura members out to the event.

Kirk, you should remember me, I am the guy with the black acura cl, I met you at Tennessee Speed Sport in Nashville , at the time I had the Brax components in there. But now it is all going to change at the end of this month.

Hey Scott, that sounds awesome! Too bad you couldn't do it in conjunction with the rescheduled MECA show. That would be so awesome to hear all of those sound systems in one place.

Cory, you're only after the free wheels huh? LOL I wouldn't blame you . . . I so would love to switch rims to the RJ Inspyres in Raven Black.

 

I am more looking around the summer time, plus we want it at a location where we can have a huge turnout. This will be the southern meet for acurazine. And my car will be going into the shop to have the install completed at the end of the month.

I don't believe Scott is into Honda-Tech. I know I'll be attending all these meets. I'll be working with Scott shortly, so you know I'll be there.
