Well, I am now just sitting at my dad's office waiting on the UPS truck to arrive with the overnighted alternator. Once it gets here they said it would take them about 1 to 1.5 hrs to install and then I will be on my way. See everyone shortly.

yeah, yeah. The lake without a boat would just be a sweaty ass parking lot meet. Anybody bringing a cooler? I might bring a small one. Ryan is bringing a wake skate, but it'd be much cooler if someone could get ahold of a decent wakeboard (with large bindings)

So I had to replace my alternator right? Well I am at the auto parts sotre picking it up and as I am about to back up a fucking idiot side swipes the back of my car and then hauls ass off. I tried to chase him but I couldn't get out into the road quick enough. Regardless to say, he got away. I filed a police report and figured it was just another expense that I had to pay on my own for someone else's stupidity. Once I am half-way to Atlanta all bummed out that my car is going to be all shitty for the meet I get a call from the auto parts store telling me that the dumbass came back to return something he bought before he hit my car. He gave me the license plate number and everything so no I get my new bumper out of the dead beat. Ugh.... Anyways, I am here at my buddies appartment about a 3 minute walk from the Lenox Mall and looking forward to Sunday (just please disregard the back bumpers condition).

 

Sorry to hear all of the troubles you've encountered with your car so far, Mike. At least the a-hole will be paying for his hit and run.

Are we going to eat at the lake or would it be best to bring our own food and eat at the picnic areas there? I need to know so that we can get some food ahead of time. Also, is a 2PM pre-meet at Lenox Mall OK with everyone? As far as the weather goes, wunderground.com says that there's a 30% chance of rain on Sunday. I just hope it doesn't rain at all and I need to get my car washed before the meet.

Yea well I got his ass... I was happy as hell once I figured out that he wasn't going to get away. Anyways, if we need to pack food then I am just going to get a bucket of chicken or a sub or something I guess... Is there anywhere that I can go to wash my car? I don't have any of my things with me to do it and stupid me didn't think about all of the bugs and the rain on the way up here... But I won't do the automatic car wash so maybe you all will just have to see my car and imagine it clean, lol. Ugh, whatever I have gone thru too much shit to get here so blah. 2pm at Lenox mall... Where at the mall again?

 

I don't know where the closest hand wash place is around the Lenox Mall area, but I was looking at Mammoth car wash and detail salon in Alpharetta since it's closer to me. Here's their address if you're interested. 255 S Main St, Alpharetta, GA 30004-1913 For $20 (that includes tip), that's not bad at all for a wash and tire shine.

For the meet location at Lenox Mall, let's meet at the back entrance of Macy that's on the Lenox Rd. side.

Hey everyone, i will do my best to make the meet, but i'm on call for weekend duty. Technically i'm suppose to stay within halk and hour of the base, just in-case they need me to come in. I may just go ahead and just drive to the Lennox Mall from my house instead of going to mu mom's house in Decatur first. I just need a physical address for the mall if anyone has it. I'm only on call untill 6pm, so if they don;t call me by 1pm, i hope i'll be good to go. T or anyone in Atl shoot me a good address or city the mall is in so i can mapquest from here in Warner Robins.

Will, the best way to get to Lenox Mall is to stay on 75/85N towards 400N and get off on the first exit where it says Lenox Rd. At the light, take a right. Go through traffic lights and at the third traffic light, take a right into Lenox Mall. Bear left and take the first right and you'll be at the meet spot. Give me a call if you get lost. And it sucks being on call. I hope no one calls you. If they do, don't you have a back up?

Hey guys. I'm about to post directions to the lake spot. I sent Ty a text

message informing him that I'm not coming to the mall for the ride out. The place we're going to is called Charleston Park. It's the place where we store my boat at. It's a small park that has lots of water front parking, a few places to bar-b-q, and a place to swim. It made the most sense to me to have it there, due to the fact that there would be no extra effort to get me over to my boat, and still have my car at the meeting spot.

If there's a spot to BBQ, I'll bring some meat to grill along with some hot dogs. We just need someone to bring the buns (hamburger and hot dogs) and other things. And the directions seem fairly simple enough from 400.

I guess that leaves Mike, Will, Zac (haven't heard from him in awhile), and I to meet up at the mall and drive over to the lake spot.

 

Sorry guys, I am not going to be able to meet tomorrow. My cousins flight has changed and I have to pick him up at 1 p.m.

I'm not gonna be able to make it guy's.. I have a blown headlight due to condensation and i'm still on warranty.. So in order to get it fixed for free, i have to work on my car tomorrow.. I have to take my CAI off and open up my headlights and put the diffuser's back in to get ready for carmax.. It's gonna be an all day project for me.. I hate to do it, but it's better than paying for new bulbs and having to wait on them to get delivered.. I'm gonna have them look at my tranny while i'm there too.. I just wish i could make this meet, i was so looking forward to it too.. Take some good pix!!


We need to do another meet in like october or something, or maybe even sooner than that..

Hey everybody, i'm going to meet at the Lenox mall at 2pm with whomever else is meeting there. What do i need to bring? I don't think my wife is coming, so it will just be me and my son probably. Just let me know what else we need, and i can swing by the store and pick up something before we head out. How far is the Lake from the Mall?

 

Will, could you bring drinks and cups? I doubt we'll need utensils since it's mostly finger food.

Went to sleep at 7 in the morning and woke up at 10:30 so I am functioning on 3.5 hrs of sleep but I am ready to go still... Atlanta folks, I am moving down there sometime this fall, can't wait to kick it with the folks in the greater ATL area. At least down there, you can have meets year round, not like here in Colorado!!

I'll need the hookup for good places to get work done, I prefer Discount Tire Co and places that do good alignments and dealerships that do good work (still under ext warranty) PM me if you can help me out with that info. Also, I may be in town during the meet, so I may roll through with my rental car..but I do have a TL here in CO..I really do! Thanks y'all!

Nothing like rushing to the hospital for them to put the wife on the monitor, tell her to walk the halls, wait a few hours (conveniently past 2:00) and then tell you to go home.
