alright i might be down, 60% i'll go and rising if i can get a couple of my buddies to go with me. The "twisties" as you call it... How many lanes? Do they have passing lanes or just the dotted yellow lines so u could go on oncoming traffic? It would be a good footage opportunity to just mash down the road filming all the acuras

not very many opportunities to pass slower cars, although when we went yesterday there was not much traffic at all. 1 lane for most of the time however.

08:00 - 10:00 San Francisco Meet
10:01 - 10:20 Drive to San Mateo for the Photo Shoot
10:21 - 11:15 Drive Through the twisties
11:16 - 12:30 Drive to Apez Motorsports

There is only one lane with dashes for passing (Highly Discouraged). This is a leisure drive and the area (twisties) will have some bicyclist and motorcycle, so highspeed driving is not an option.

There will be some spots for footage but you will have to be with the first group and choose a spot to take pictures and stay there to get all of it.

If you want, you can hang out with some of our photographers,,,they will be at the beginning of the run and take I280 to take picture at the end of the (Highway 84) run.

Reminder: Acurazine and Neorick is not responsible for any Violation/Accidents/Traffic Tickets/Fender Benders

The Team Drive was great!!! The destinations will cater to everyone (young and old). Here are some lessons Learned.

1. Headlights needs to be turned on....
2. Walkie Talkie is a definite must have. Use different channel per group.
3. Soap Markers is really needed
4. Team should be in groups of 10. With 5 minute intervals.
5. When a breakdown from a group happens...everyone in the group must help out.
6. Two Leaders per team is a must.
7. Directions will be provided at the meet

The meet will go as follows. Meet at Stonestown McDonalds between 8:00 -10:00am for coffee and light Breakfast. We will have a quick meeting and organize into groups (10 Cars per group) we are looking at 70 cars. We will then Drive to the designated route (TBD) and leave Stonestown promptly at 10:01am at 5 minute intervals.

This is not a race to see who has a better car, no showboating or racing. Team Leaders will be Lead Cars and Rear Tracker to make sure that we dont loose anybody. This will be a club type drive. .

The team leaders will help me manage the drive and the group. I know that some of you want to sprint from the start (Highly Discouraged). We all need to be responsible driver and observe all the traffic regulations. We will not tolerate any racing and unsafe speed. This is suppose to be a leisure drive. If you decide to race and violate the traffic rules..then you are on your own. Please respect others while driving.

We will be meeting at Stonestone Parking Lot, this will be a large meet and I want to make sure that everyone would enjoy the meet and have great photo ops. Get your cameras out and take lots of pics. Nothing more amazing than seeing a group of cars driving in a long formation

The Team Leaders have test driven a new route, created a new map and driving direction, right now we estimate the the drive will take about 1 Hour and there multiple stops and traffic lights so make sure you stick with your team leaders.

Every Group will have different routes depending on their timeline. We will hold on to the route until we finalize the plan...So far We are looking at wrapping the drive with final destination at APEX Motorsports for $5.00 BBQ and watch some cars being Dynoed.

Must have is a 2 WAY RADIO. Those who have extra radio please bring them. Each Group will use a different channel. I will announce the channel at the day of the meet.[/B]

For those who wish to drive at much faster pace, Ronnie/Klepto/Veen is in charge .

I am asking for everyones assistance so we can make this as smooth as possible. So keep spreading the word. The meet is primarily for all Acura cars, drivers of all ages. We have the Honorary Group Led by Ronnie.

RESEARCHFREAK Is working on coordinating the donation to the Ronald McDonald House....any amount is appreciated...cash/Check is ok[/B]

PLEASE CHECK THE THREAD THE DAY BEFORE THE MEET FOR ANY CHANGES IN THE PLAN...

Lets have a fun and safe meet!!!!

Keep the list going

It is a marker that you can use to write on the windshield that will come off (like a sopa) when you wash your car.

Rick, I searched through the thread but missed what we write on the windshield? Also, writing on the windshield is not allowed in CA, if I recall what I read at the CHP site.

Pics of soap pen writing:

my buddy's girlfriend did it to all of our cars during a baseball tournament.

So where do you get them? I'd be willing to pick some up for the meet.

Every Group will have different routes depending on their timeline. We will hold on to the route until we finalize the plan...So far We are looking at wrapping the drive with final destination at APEX Motorsports for $5.00 BBQ and watch some cars being Dynoed.

Map of the new route plz?

So since were gunna be in different "groups" we wouldn't be mobbin in the highway together? That woudl be sweet to see 70 TL's/Cl's/TSX's/etc. in the fastlane . It's up to u though.

The map will be handed out the day of the meet (April 16th)

I agree that it would be cool to see all 70 cars on the freeway...For Safety reasons we have decided to break the cars into small groups. Not to worry...at the Photo spot...we will be deciding on how we approach the twisties.

Rick...tell everyone incase of a emergency not to have everyone pull over...we dont want 70 cars on the side of the road...Incase something happens...the group will pull over n handle it...while everyone else will drive on...well talk more into detail on the day of meet
