2. Scotty wit salads and paper plates
3. Dreamin with hot dogs/brats and buns (ill get some saurkraut too)
hey scotty, i got some xs headers that ive been wanting to install for a year, i did a little test install about a month ago, and if i had the tools it wouldnt be too hard to install. If you want we could get together and install these babies somewhere.

Ive got the hand tools and a nice torque wrench. If it goes smoothly We could do It. I dont have jack stands or a floor jack. I have a one car garage so we could do it in there

id be guessin its probably around 150-200, it would probably take a mechanic about 2 hours of work, but im really not sure. My friend has a neighbor with a huge jack that we borrowed during the test install. I just havent been over there lately to completely do the install. Its just pretty much taking off bolts and putting them on, the only hard part is reaching the bolts and get the rusted ones off.

I had to take the car to a muffler shop just to weld some bolts sine they were rusted. Some of the angles of the bolts are difficult with hand tools. Rear manifold is a bit tough, comes out easiest through the bottom. I got frustrated with the rusted bolts and finaly just paid a shop. 1 hour labor give or take is reasonable for a shop. Hmmm what to bring to the meet...can we get some confirms on everyone going?

I must of been sleepin' on this thread!! As the self-proclaimed top ranking Colorado TL member (amount of posts and 4+ years on forum) I have decided to pass the baton to Timberland, Jason and Igor for meet coordinations..ha ha ha!!
Yes, I am preparing for our move to ATL and life is busy, but I am down for a meet! I'll lay back and wait for final word on place/date/time.
As a departing gift for your ol' trusty pal CJITTY, if someone can who is GREAT with TL brake installs (rotors and pads), it will be worth a case of your favorite beverage if you could help a brotha out with the install before I leave in Oct

EDIT: I left cervezas open for someone else. A couple wouldn't hurt, we don't need no DUI's though. We should hang for a bit but I think a cruise is called for.

Sorry, haven't been keeping up on this thread.
My car was in with my mechanic this weekend, and I'm showing signs of the tranny going out. I dropped it off at Detroit Transmissions on 52nd and Sheridan yesterday, so they are taking a look at it, not sure if I'll end up leaving it there for several days or not (start school next week, it would just be more convinient to leave it now rather than whenever my tranny goes out/next time I'm off school for several days), so if I have my car back by Sunday, I'm in. I will give you guys a heads up though!

Well, I came to the conclusion this morning after talking with my parents to go ahead and have the transmission rebuilt. $2500 is going to absolutely destroy me but it was that, or sell the TL and settle with a cheaper car... Which I didn't want to do, because I would just go back to where I started from a year ago. I love the TL too much to let it go!
But, I'm guessing I won't have the car back till early next week so I'm probably not going to be able to attend, but next time for sure!

sorry I haven't been online my car is also down cause it's misfiring right now, so I won't make it to this meet if there's another one in september i'll most likely be to that one, sorry again, I ordered new spark plugs and brake pads and a high boost pulley, so hopefully it would be working with the new spark plugs in the car, and hopefully I have some gauges in by than as well, but yeah i've been trying to get my car back on the road... let me know how the meet goes though

Ok it's now officially September, what's the deal? Let's do something like maybe the last week of September. I am going to be deathly busy the next couple weeks...plus, because of insurance and also the tranny warranty, I will be selling the CL within the next few months

I will be there for this months meet, if anyone else is down to go, haha, yeah, did all the work myself with 2 of my friends and it was a pain to take the reg. pulley off cause it was rusted on, and I spent a junk load of money on tools, so besides that, car runs great, i'm putting in some gauges and i'm hoping to get the gauge pod soon, and finished my bumper up alil bit, still working on smoothing the surface i'll most likely put a sticker vinyl on it or something, haha
