I'm there if it goes down! I'd for sure be willing to help out however possible, though I would mostly be going to see some people who have money to spend on their Acura's!

Its actually HMM

I live in Lakewood, and work in north Denver/Thornton area. I'm downtown maybe once a week, since my car is the biggest so we take mine to the clubs and such. But I'm usually around the Lakewood/Littleton area!

Haha ya, mostly The Church, but I have friends in high places, so luckly there are a few others I get in, The Church is usually the most packed tho and the best after-the-club-closes fights. The big ones are totally overrated tho, just countin down the days till I hit 21

im down wit wash park, short drive for me. Church is alright sometimes...the hip hop basement gets way too crowded. no offense Jason, but i swear that basement is a little chinatown..haha (i guess little Tijuana would work too). Are we gonna throw down some BBQ again? It seems like there are a lot of CO guys on this site...but we cant get us all together, if we really spread the word, i bet we can get over 10 ac's there. Maybe even push it and get 15! This sunday is probably to early, so we still have the 12th, 19th, and 26th as far as sundays go...or we could postpone to September.

There's a couple of spots in City Park where we could park our cars together. But Pueblo, man I don't about that. I wanna try to keep this one remotely local. I'm down for another meet though.

Let's go...anywhere will work depending on what is most important - nice scenery and drive, good bbq area, good pics area, or preferably all of the above!

Side note: anyone dyno their car recently or plan on going to the track soon?

he said late july...so im guessin that is over. Does anyone want to take the initiative here? Usually its CJITTY, but surprisingly he hasnt posted in this thread yet...must be gettin ready to move. Anyway im going camping the weekend after next, so im just gonna throw this out there: How bout sunday, August 19th, i think that meets everyones schedule right? If not please let me know. So far we have these areas:
1.My suggestions: Pueblo or Sonic...lmao (still down wit raiding sonic!!!!!!!)
2.City Park
3. Somewhere up I-70, possibly Lookout Mtn. (if you guys are down for a drive we could go to Lake Dillon, real chill spot, nice camping/bbq area)
4.Bishops castle
5.i think scotty said cheeseman park

Everyone please chime in on this one...so we can get a spot figured out. Do you guys wanna do the same kind of thing for the bbq as last time...just everyone pick something to bring?

Im gonna go ahead and say im down with a nice park, we can toss the football and get grillin, easy and simple. Im cool wit cheeseman or city park. Holla!!

with normal traffic it should be about an hour and a half, if we start flying maybe even an hour, i think thats what it is. i havent been there in a few years, but once ur up in the mtns on i-70 it comes up on you pretty damn quickly. Im sure one of you guys can agree that the place is quite pretty, the lake is really big, its like most other camp sites with a grill right there. Also Dillon/Silverthorne has outlet malls and a really tight recreation center with a big pool and a sick slide (we always used to go there when i was a kid..lol). Anyway id be down to drive...im not sure how everyone feels about the gas money...im sure Jason is gritting his teeth at the idea?

The 19th is cool with me. And a bbq like last time is a good idea. All we need to do is figure out a spot. How far is everyone willing to drive? The last two meets we had were a far drive so I was hoping to have something a little bit closer this time.
Let me know what you guys think. I don't know where everyone lives. City Park is close to me but I know it's not close for Jason.

We could also try something different all together and meet up on a Saturday evening and meet at a bar or something. Caldonias has a huge parking lot and a volleyball area. Have a couple of drinks and chill. Or maybe even a pool hall.

Something close like city park

vs

something farther up i-70 like lake dillon

please give your two cents!! again im good wit either, id probably lean towards something clsoer so i can spend more money on food. id love to go to caldonias cuz its literally a block from my house...but im guessin they will check my id?

I'm cool with whatever, I too would like to stay a little closer because of the gas, but if I have to sacrifice, then I'm all for it lol. But anytime after next weekend is fine, my car is going to my mechanic all weekend from the 10th to the 12th to get some things looked at that are just way overdue because I've been so busy. So the 19th would work out great

Sounds like we're all in agreement with the 19th. Let's make a decision on where. I'm with you dreamin, local=more food. And yes Caldonias does check I.D's.

Actually, I live off Wadsworth and Alameda. Downtown Lakewood (Belmar) is right next to me which is kind of a cool area, there are several places to eat and lots of large parking lots and such. That is probably the coolest place here

Then lets do city park, that should be relatively close for most of us. Do we need to reserve a spot?
