Y don't we just go to the track in carlsband. It's like 10 bucks to watch and add another 15 bucks to race. Plus to many ppl are busy. The best way to go about a meet is post time and days. IF you get more than 10 ppl then have the meet.

I say we get together 20-30 TLs together of both Socal and Ncal... and we go cruisin. like redondo beach or santa monica, if Ncal ppl think that's too far...maybe santa barabra would be fair?
Let's pick an city area first...then the exact location narrowed down with 3 selection or somethin like that
what do u all think?

I think we should meet initially at one of those beach parking lots in Santa Monica... take some pix then get some lunch off 3rd ave or drive up to Malibu and have lunch at one of those road side diners... take some more pix submit them to acura and get some sponsership 
Then go for some inspired driving in the Malibu Canyons... then go back to Santa Monica and figure out where to eat... and then for all who are up for it go clubbing and mac one some hot LA chicks...

i'll be in iowa that weekend...sept 14-16
so how about the weekend of the 22? or weekend of 8-9
or in oct...
As for a place...why don't we meet at will roger state beach to begin with and take some pix...
Will Rogers State Beach: 16000 block of Pacific Coast Hwy, Pacific Palisades, CA (310) 394-3266
then head up to along pch to mailbu and see if there is some road restaurant to eat at like in fast and furious....
then screw around for a while and head back to the motels for the LA folks and then go out for dinner or something...

City, a date shoudln't be a problem for you SoCal Folks... It's we NorCal folks who should have to deal with the date since the meet is gonna be in your backyard.

Yes...I agree, the NoCali ppl are putting in quite an effort to make it down here, they're paying what about $50 in gas alone to make this meet? I say us SoCali ppl should pitch in and make some friends with NoCali TL owners. I'll keep in touch with SoCali ppl to see how we can pitch in. Hope to see a strong showing then.

Hey guys - sounds like a blast, but a drive down to Santa Monica's probably too far, even though I'd enjoy the ride!

On a more serious note I think that the enthusiasm on the part of the SoCal ppl has been well, a bit low... But. So far there are about 12 CL ppl (7 Socal and 5 NorCal) who have shown interest in this meet. Being from SoCal and living in NoCal, I know we SoCalers have a tendency to not worry about things until it comes up in a week or so. Get your enthusiasm up for the NorCalers and let them know this is gonna be a meet that will be worthwhile and one to remmeber. This is the only way your gonna get more ppl to come down!

-Also, agree that SoCalers should put out the extra effort toward hospitality seeing as the meet will be on our home turf.
Maybe we ought to think about doing a barbeque/picnic at Will Rogers' instead of trying to descend on a coastal restaurant en masse.

Can us SoCalers agree on gettin food then, BBQing does sound like a great idea esp in our #s but we'll need an organizer to start collecting funds and a list of items to purchase. Has someone actually scoped out the meeting area and checked to see what accommadations there are? I mean, if there's only 1 grill we're all SOL then..:p Or are there enough restraunts etc etc. if I'm missing any points please feel free to add on..
but as for Enthusiasm..
I'm looking forward to seeing how NoCali and SoCali owner differ in taste for modding their cars...

Another quick note, my bad on this, anyone know any SoCali CL guys? I've met Scott, before at Ontario, think his handle is CLPower? Hmm...I'll look around...I'll recognize his SN when I see it, but asides from him, I just wanna know who else knows any CL guys so we can talk to them as well in regards to what us SoCalers should pitch in..

The meet is going to be at Will Rodger's state beach in Santa Monica/Pacifc Palisades...
Or we can find another place to meet up for free first...
I would probably not recommend a BBQ... b/c the NorCal folk did one and want to be ricers started showing up...
My recommendation would be let meet at starbucks first then drive someplace have lunch on PCH then do some inspired driving somewhere... I need help from you SOCal guys... so I have forgotten where the cool places to drive are...
And then head back to a beach to chill...

Well, since it's held at SoCali, us SoCalers will be referred to as a "host". My idea is that each one of us "host" at least 1 NoCali person, I'm sure there would be more SoCali guys than NoCali. But I think it would be a good idea to assign 1 person to count heads and see how many Socal vs Nocal. I'll get in contact with Hellawhat to dicuss about CL guys. Maybe it seems early to prepare now but if we're to make this work guys, we all need to pitch in and make it happen.
