The Texas State Fair is coming up Sept 28 thru Oct 21 2007. They have invited us to park our rides in their car coral on Oct 6, 2007. We will be sharing the coral with the Jaguar Club. This is a great way to let everyone in Dallas know what AcuraClub is all about.

Well this is sneaking up on us guys! Lets start talking about this and getting a good list of who is going to go.

So who is in?

I will at least wait to see what happeneds with American Honda. If they come on board then I will see what I can do with it. But if not, then I see no reason to go any further with this....

Plus Jordan has now come on board to help me. Seems like the club idea has inspired someone else....

Just an update, I am now AcuraClub President. Jordan is Club VP.

We are going to take a step back and focus on Texas for a bit. I will be in touch with our two chapter execs when American Honda comes on board and see how much commitment they want to give us. But for now we need to get Texas going.

nice...college schedule is pretty tough so i don't have much free time for pics yet, i'm actually in town right now but my car is at the dealership getting my stage 2 kit put on. I pick it up monday morning and heading straight back to oklahoma from there. The stock tone is pretty nice, although mine will whine really loud come monday when the high boost pulley is on.

So, as y'all may or may not know, I have been tracking the Viper for a bit now. Well, I'm not that great, but I'm not bad, and am currently in 4th place for the season (out of 24). The finals are coming up at the end of October and I'm thinking of going. Wish me luck!!

I made a thread on AcuraClub, and I thought I posted in here too... anyway, it was great! Lots of fun, and learned what the S2000 can really do. MSR is quite a challenging track. My instructor told me I'm one of the best and fastest novice drivers he has ever had

I should have pics up shortly...

In my pit area I had 2 snake partners (well 4 if you count their SRT10 trucks they had to pull the snakes)

My nemesis for the weekend was the Lotus Elise, which there were two of in my group. On my second track session on saturday, the silver one intimidated me, and he got the passing signal. On my second to last session on Sunday, I caught, past, and left the red one. My instructor was all "you've beaten your nemesis" So I was pleased with my performance.
Cars in my group were: 07 Z06, 2 06 C6's, Subaru Legacy GT, 2 Elise's, 01 M5, 3 M3's (1 E36, 2 E46), 2 Solstice GXP's, 3 other S2000's, 3 Miatas, RX-8, Nissan 240 turbo, Charger SRT-8 S/C, Porsche Carerra S, Porsche Cayman, 04 TL, Couple of Mini Cooper S's.

All in all, a great track experience, I encourage anyone who ever wants to learn to drive their car fast and effective... DO IT...

Sweet, you slayed your nemesis!

Glad you had a blast-and I'm not surprised that you were one of the fastest newbies-you can drive a car well grasshopper.
