How was Joe Pool Lake?!?! I didnt get to go due to an ACT class diagnostic test thaat took up my whole afternoon from 1 to 430, however, on the way to the test i see out of the corner of my eye A dark grey TL with some grey-ish wheels and smoked tailights (I am guessing this was you Ethan??) followed by a new Blue TL-S follwed by a red s2k. All of ya'll came out of one of those new neighborhoods on Forest. So I caught up to the s2k and he signals to me to roll down my window and says "Nice car!" to which I return "You too!" then he proceeds to ask "Have you ever been to Acurazine?" to which I reply "haha yea! I'm actually a member" and so I asked if ya'll were headed down to the meet at Joe Pool and he said yea and asked if I was going to so I told him what was up with the ACT thing and the conversation ended there because we were at a red light. Then all three of ya'll turned in to the car wash which is in the same lot as my ACT class. That test sucked! Even more so because of seeing ya'll then knowing where ya'll were going
I will be at the next meet! hopefully

I wanted to just skip the test and go with yall, but skipping that would have screwed me sideways about 7 times. And I love your TL, you got all the right parts, looks super good!
Who was the guy in the s2k he seemed pretty cool/nice. He's got good hair
haha
haha
What an awesome weekend. Got to finally hang out with the gang again, hear some great music, and sell my condo.
Thanks again E for letting my crash at your place. Y'all are going to have to come down to Austin again-see Annie's new place, and hang out.

Lets all pray for the famalies that have lost loved ones in the Virginia Tech tragedy. It hit too close to home for me. My cousin is a student there and was fairly close to the shootings. She is okay but shaken up. The dorm where the shootings took place was where she lived just last year.
you guys should've called me about the joe pool lake thing. jordan was passed out after armin and i forgot. i even washed my car and fixed the foglights for the drive.
i feel like farva..."how come you guys didn't call me?"

HEy guys! quick question for ya'll. I am in the market for some lowering springs, prbably going to go with Eibach Pro-Kit. I understand that putting on aftermarket lowering or sport springs can wear out your stock shocks. How long does it take untill you need to replace your shocks? thanks! Oh and I just got my new rims :gheywave:
I put Comptech springs on my CL at about 10k miles, at 65k right now and still don't need new shocks. The Comptech drop isn't as low as others though, so the shocks might wear out quicker with a more extreme drop.

after riding around for a year with stock shocks and a h&r drop (1.75/1/5) i was tired of them, not stiff enough. Put my Koni Yellows in a few weeks ago and it feels like a go-kart now!
Edit: plus the Koni's lowered me another 3/4 of an inch
save up for coilovers, you'll be much happier and you'll only have to do the job once because only springs will wear out the stock shocks quick.

The cars I was parked btwn make me look like I'm driving a monster truck! I'll be a regular on the site from now on. Peace!!!
