yeah cartoys will rip you off. and some of the salesman will try to get you to buy more than you need by lying.
i was asking him how much some speakers were and he said i would need to buy a headunit or ill blow them with my stock headunit. i guess he thought i would beleive him since i was 16.
then i told him i would go ahead and buy the speakers off the internet since theyre half the price for the same thing

Also, I'm kind of skeptical about taking my car to Best Buy or other places to install the amp because I've heard crappy things about their installs. I'm thinking about doing it myself but I have no experience in car audio installs. However I have been installing everything that I've put into my car, save the clutch/flywheel, so I think I'm capable, but I would rather have more information about installing an amp, otherwise I'll leave it to the pros. Anyone got any info to help me out?

Grand Prairie Audio. Nothing can come close to price and quality. If you watch "Overhaulin" and "Rides" then you've seen Craig's work. I always get ALL my stuff done there. Tint, electronics, etc.

I can vouch for Fade's work. He's don't a great job on his car and I know he would do the same for you, better than a retail place.

The weather forecast is starting to change for the better. 76 degrees and down to a 30% chance of a "few showers". The major rain has now pushed out to Sunday. Keep praying guys for no rain.

Here is the meeting point for everyone coming from the Metroplex. If you don't hook up at Ethan's to start then we will meet o2 in Hillsboro, just south of the 35 E & W merge. There is a McDonalds there to grab a quicky breakfast food since we'll be leaving so early.

We will plan on a specific time to meet. Let me figure that out and repost unless someone can figure out a time.

McDonalds
1504 Corsicana Hwy
Hillsboro, TX 76645

Located on the east side of 35.

Lets plan on 8am sharp to meet at this McDonalds in Hillsboro. It'll take us 2 hours to get to Austin from here. Here's a Google Map from the McDonalds to the Starbucks in Austin:

If your car is an issue, you can hook up as a passenger with any of us coming down. Just a thought if that's what is holding you back.

Otherwise...we'll miss ya if you really can't make it!
