I had a blast while I was with the main group. Only lowpoint was waiting to get in that darn restaurant in Gruene. Was nice to have a meeting place (Sterling) where we weren't being rushed out by security or some crap. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures either which kinda sucked but oh well I suppose some others got that covered. That silver NSX sounded so sweet along with Eriks supercharged rsx.

just wanted to say I really enjoyed meeting all of you today and driving my ugly duckling 8 amongst all your pimped out Acura's lol Had a blast on the drive, got jacked up trying to catch up towards the end and just ended up going home (and taking the scenic route heh). I should have paid more attention to the route, for whatever reason I thought we were heading towards the lake and lime creek and all that, guess that's what I get for not paying attention If any of y'all ever want to roll with the TexasRxs feel free to show up, our drives are open to all as well and we usually have at least 1-2 a month, our site is in my sig, free to register etc. same deal as today, just a bunch of rotaries instead of Acura's lol

Just a quick thanks to all the Acurazine folks from your friends at the Austin chapter of Club RSX. Lots of great cars, great camaraderie, and a fun drive. I know how much work it is to put these events together and you guys always do a great job. I'm sorry that we weren't able to stay for lunch, and hope everyone had safe and enjoyable drives home...

In a nutshell, we will be meeting at noon at the 360 bridge for a couple of hours of hanging out and photos. Deli platters and beverages will be available. At about 3:00PM, we will leave for aroad trip through Marble Falls and ultimately end up at Rudy's BBQ on 183 around dinner time. We are expecting 50+ cars already and the more the merrier. Great meet guys, was good to meet those of you that I did.

Ironically enough it was like I was driving my own S2000, as Annie and Grayson's is New Forumla Red too.
So for those of you that didn't get to meet me, I was driving the Red S2K, though not mine.

As always I enjoyed my time in Austin!

One day, we will get the Viper out for a photoshoot. Unfortunately for now, it is back in the shop The belt slipped off the main pulley and took out the power steering, alternator, and then proceeded to overheat the car :damnit:

 

Thanks to Jordan and Ethan for putting this together. I had a great time meeting everyone and the drive was a blast. It was nice to put faces to names. I look forward to doing this again.

Update: Totally f'd

We originally thought that it was just the tensioner, and that it would be a quick fix. Well, not really. The balancer completley tore up the crankshaft. Woopi-time for an entire engine rebuild.

as for the meet, i had a great time! good to see everyone again and can't wait until the next round, where ever it may be. i keep telling myself to take more pictures because every time i get home i'm pissed cuz i think of something i should of shot...but didn't. anyway had a blast with all the cars!

and oh ya..THANKS for grabbing my camera! i had a small heart attack there for a second.

 

I had a wonderful time on the drive and meeting everyone. For those of you that missed the drive home it was the most amazing part.

I'm looking forward to the new one in February (or one even sooner)

hey all, sorry haven't posted in a while but life has been nuts. :P

Is there a way I could get a copy of the route from someone? I'd like to do this same drive in December with our car club (www.texasrxs.org), I'd also like to extend an invite to anyone who would like to come along, I'm trying to work it to where we can show up sort of in the evening and geek on lights etc. Then take 35 home to avoid the deer etc. Any help would be appreciated, this is my first time organizing a run, wish me luck
