we will be planning the route while at the socal meet. it is a lot more complicated since we have to choose the route from which we will all meet at each others convenience as well as a shorter route to arroyo grande. we may also have to time everything right and plan out break stops/ gas stops.

i tried this as well but im sure itll be easier with everyone agreeing in person and talking it out.

Sure, you guys can stop by our meet location. It's pretty much RIGHT of the 101 anyways. Big open parking lot for everyone to re-group, not hard to find, and it would not be out of the way at all.

I guess i will have most of the pasadena/glendale area people meet at my house then on to this spot

I think the early the better, but i know most here are not morning people...but i say around 8 or 9 would be good.

This is my opinion: Basically, 818 meeting place is the final leg of the caravan before everyone heading out to All Cali meet location. For SD group, they will have their own meeting place to caravan up to meet either with OC group (at Autobacs) or meet with 818 group. For OC group, we will meet at SuperAutobacs and head up to join with 818 group and SD group to make big caravan to the final destination. For gas, everyone should fill up when come to 818 location so we can have enough gas to drive up to Arroyo grande. For rest area, it's little hard to plan, but 3 hrs drive is not that bad to require for rest. Lets plan out more detail when we meet at upcoming SoCal meet April 29th

Lac, I think if you are able to coordinate something for the people down south, that would be awesome. When ready, just contact me and we can arrange a caravan from the 818 meet. It will be a nice drive with a bunch of us driving up north for the last stretch of the caravan.

I would also encourage walkie-talkies.

side note....

when driving all together dont drive crazy. on the way up to a VW show in Ventura my friend was speeding with alot of other VW and Audi's on the freeway up and we all got pulled over because people called the cops. lets all try to drive together.....a mile of Acura's would be cool.

im gonna bring my video cam to record the caravan line if we are able to coordinate the SD and OC meet-up with this caravan.

oh yea.. since this is a long trip in the weeee hours of the morning... i would bring someone to ride shotgun along in the car with u. but thats just me

Hey!!! Great to hear from you. I've got some idea, but now I have to figure whether or not I'm going to keep the car when the lease is up in August 2009. Do you know much about leases? If I mod it will the lease company assume I will buy it at any price and stick it to me? I suppose I could call them and ask them.

I would really like to tint, CAI, mod the exhaust for sound(resonator?), maybe a performance pulley and a chip.

I saw a Oxygen Sensor Power Chip on the web and also a Surge Performance Chip. What do you know about those?

I don't think I'm interested in lowering, doesn't do all that much for me. Maybe add the Acura package with the lip on the trunk etc.

So, I guess I'd prefer performance over looks, it's already a damn nice looking car!

As for hamburger patties! Just grab a piece and SQUISH!!! Hah!

The meet is near and it's time we need to plan the time for caravan. Have you guys decide when we will roll out? I'm thinking OC group and other group will arrive at 818 caravan location between 8:00AM to 8:30AM, then we all head out at 8:30AM which arrive at Biddle park around 11:00AM. How's that sound guys?

For OC group, we would meet at Super Autobacs around 6:30AM to 7:00AM. Head up to 818 Caravan location exact at 7:00AM to meet up with 818 group around 8:00AM. Fill gas, grap quick breakfast/coffee if necessary then heading up to Biddle Regional Park at 8:30AM. Expect to arrive at Biddle Regional park around 11:00AM
