It was 103 here and the Z's coolant temp was gettin very high. I was losing ~4lbs of boost due to the heat and couldnt even turn on the AC w/o risking overheating the car. So instead of driving, I worked on some mods in an AC'd cooled garage yesterday.

LOL!! thanks for naming me THE HARDCORE DRIVER OF THE YEAR! hahahahaaa!
it was still hot as hell on the way back home!.... and when i got home WE HAD NO ELECTRICITY!! AND STILL DONT!!!

the transformer blew out that afternoon and i had to take a shower in the dark, knocking everything over in the bathroom as i fumbled around for a towel!

It was really nice meeting and driving with you guys last Saturday. Thanks again Jeff for the food run. As for the CEL, I talked with both Shad and Billy about it and they're not sure what's wrong -- why car idles, revs & drives okay like a NA car, but can't explain the lack of boost. Also, the car wasn't running in limp-mode after the CEL, because I was able to rev it above 4k RPM and all the way up to 7500. I'll probably take my car to the mothership again.

It's official, the United States Forestry & National Park Service has banned teh jatt from entering Yosemite for defacing federal government property.

We missed you out there but I don't blame you. Weather was definitely not on our side.

How did you get access to an AC'd cooled garage? I could get tons of stuff done if I had one of those.

You're right - I didn't think about the RPM limit in limp mode. So I take it that the X didn't give you any additional problems on the drive home. I'm curious to what they find.

It must be hard to drive only having 280whp in NA mode instead of your normal 345whp

I got a portable AC unit for the garage. Man, seeing how much you perspire Jeff you definitely need one when working on the car! Here's what I worked on with the help of some friends:

Cleared out my headlights and clear reflectors



CF engine cover
