Alright, ladies & gentlemen...I was going to get springs to lower my car bout 1", but instead, my birthday present is going to be coming to see you people in DC. I have cemented my plans to come see my cousin starting about a week from the meet, then the plans get fuzzy:
we'll probably hop a flight to DC at that point, but have no place to stay yet (hotel? someone's apt./condo/house?) and don't know about getting to that place from the airport (ride w/ someone? taxi?). I also think I want to spend about a day at the Smithsonian. That could be done on Friday, me thinks. Probably fly back Sunday after the meet that's on Saturday.

It sounds like you'll probably be coming up on Thursday? Unfortunately, if I have that Saturday off, there's a 99% chance I'll be on call that Thursday night, so I can't offer you a ride. Many hotels have free shuttles to & from the airport, though, so check that out.
If you happen to fly in Wednesday for some reason, count me in as transpo.

If not, my brain won't let up until it's done & that's a really bad thing if it takes, say, a couple months to get my plans in order. My m.o. when doing business with people & this occurs is to stay on them politely until it gets done. I generally get my way. Fuck it...I always get my way.

I don't have anything else to report except that I'm on top of everything being discussed here. Rev, way to go man!! We're going to pull this off and it's going to be a blast. You'll be glad you made the decision everyone was hoping you'd make.
I agree with Wndrlst on the airport choices. All things being equal, go into Reagan. How many of you will there be? If it's four or less I can help with the transportation. I'm 15 min from Reagan during the week.
Give me time to find out about the club room as well. As I said earlier, my sis sometimes works some pretty crazy schedules but she's good at eventually getting back to me. Patience fellow ramblers.

to answer your question, there will be solamente dos - mi esposa y myself. I know I'm trying to be relatively cheap about this, but I also don't want to put people out or screw up you guys' days.
