We never really made definite plans on when and where, so I decided to start a new thread with all of the important information in the first post.

BTW- If anyone in the Northern VA area wants to meet up first and drive up together let me know. We're still trying to figure out a place to leave from, but I think we'll definitely be driving up together even if its just 2 or 3 of us.

Why are you voting? We're trying to figure out where we should caravan from in NoVA to get to Dave and Busters. Tyson's Corner is a bad place to meet up because its in the wrong direction to get to Bethesda. Thats why we're thinking somewhere near the Toll Road.

If we can't agree on a place to actually have this meet this late in the game, then we shouldn't have the meet at all. I think the concensus was that we have a meet in Maryland, and we wanted something to do ... So we picked Dave and Busters.

I don't know which you're talking about, a caravan point or a place to actually have the meet?

We're trying to decide where to meet in VA to roll up to D&B together. I'm not sure what Blazn5 is trying to get a vote for because he's got a bunch of different places.

The meet is at D&B. If you don't like the location then please feel free to have another meet somewhere else. The meet is less than a week away, if we can't even agree on the place then I can understand why these DC Metro CL/TL meets happen so infrequently.

But personally for me, the meet is at D&B. We're just picking a caravan point from NoVA at this point... I think Tyson's II is nice, but its a bad spot because its the wrong direction. Somewhere near the Reston Town Center sounds like it makes more sense.. Although Springfield would make even more sense but it depends on where everyone in VA is coming from.

to get to d&b dont we have to take the 270 spur off of 495 right?? to get there the fast way would be meet at reston town center(beacuse its right next 2 the toll road) hop on the toll road and hit up 495.. we should prob meet in nova around 1 to 1:30 hit the road by 2 you just never know with the trafic here. if we do take the toll road the first toll is 35 cents and the next is 50 cents so make sure u have the shiny stuff with u. let me know what u think and liqice i got ya number well hook ethier way.

I've got Smart Tag so I don't need any change ... Sounds like the town center is a good idea. Traffic on the Toll Road is usually pretty good and consistent while 66 is usually pretty unpredictable on the weekends. Just gotta figure out where in the Town Center to meet up ... there's so many damn parking garages and all .. Maybe its best to meet in the Ruby Tuesday parking lot if there aren't too many of us. Just meet up towards the back of the lot ... I've got NAVI so people can follow me out of there to D&B if you want. Meet up at 1:30pm and leave by 2pm sounds like a good plan.. Its a 30 minute ride so if we get there a little early its no big deal.

If anyone else wants to meet up there just reply here so that way we know to wait for you.

Do we have a Head Count, ususally the First Gen meets are pretty slim as far as turnout. I am an hour away, but if there going to be a good turnout, I'll be there. I vote for D&B.

I dont have a definite head count yet. I believe the definites right now are:

2. evilone
3. Blazn5
4. mrsteve (if car is fixed in time)

I invited some members from CapitalRSX as well, and I think a few of them might show up too. I invited people from Acura-TSX.com too but there were no definites yet.

No idea if anyone else is planning on coming. If you are, please post a reply and confirm! It originally sounded like we had a lot of people coming, but since I started the 2nd post there has been a lot less people saying they want in. Maybe D&B is an unpopular choice or maybe people just don't like me

Yeah if you don't, just drive to the upper level and find the entrance to D&B. The first time I did it, I just drove around the mall once

For those with dirty cars like myself, you can hit up the new Flagship Car Wash (with about 7 or 8 self-service pressure wash bays) that is located along Rockville Pike about 2min. from the White Flint. If you are going Northbound on the Pike, you make a right after the Sports Authority shopping lot (on corner of Barnes & Noble) and go straight, it's on your left!

My TSX and I are still planning on going. I'm in Alexandria but I can stop by the Reston Town Center around 1:30 to head out from there.

For anyone who wants to ride up with us from NoVA, we're gonna be meeting at the Ruby Tuesday parking lot in Reston Town Center @ 1:30pm and rolling out at about 2pm - Might be a little early, but 495/270 traffic is always so unpredictable.

Got the car back today. Looks perfect. They did an awesome job. They even detailed my interior while they had the car. Saved me lots of time tomorrow getting ready for the meet.

Everyone should try and park in the part of the lot right in front of D&B if that was not already clear. When you go up the garage ramp, make a left and you will see D&B.

Damn! Huge pics. I'll upload my pics in a bit, just gotta shrink 'em down and edit them. Was a small turnout imho, but good for a TL/CL meet I guess I'm used to 20+ people at the Capital RSX meets. Anyways, was nice meeting everyone. I'd love to do another meet sometime ... How about in NoVA next time tho?
