White TEs are going to look great.

TEs are all forged right? They dont make cast options from Volk do they? Buddy is looking to trade his Work VSXX for Volk TE37s. I was thinking about it and if all TEs are forged, and his WOrks are half cast half forged and this guy wants to put money ontop of his Volks for the Works then my buddy may come out on top. I really cant say which are more popular right now but TE37s are easily stronger and lighter than Work VSXX.

I believe the five most popular volk models are forged. TE37, CE28n, SE37k, RE30, ZE40. They are both a classic style wheel. It all depends on what you're friend is going for. The VSXX are more for the grown up sophisticated ride, while the TE37 are still track/boy racer. I guess I'm still in the boy racer phase.

lol I understand why you say it is more boy racer but I wouldnt be that harsh.

He has VSXX already but wants a more race inspired look. His are 9.5 while I think the TEs hed trade for are 8.5 so the guy said hed throw cash on top for the trade. I'm trying to say wait for some more aggressive TEs because he wont be satisfied with that fitment.

Yeah mine are normal TE37 17x7.5 +40. They have the slightest concavity, but he'd wanna get some 17x9.5 +22 for an aggressive stance. I was able to fit a 18x9.5 +34 offset CE28n under the front with minimal rubbing and no camber kit. Tell him to check the inside by the lug holes to make sure they're legit. Wouldn't want him to get shafted if he does make the trade. Are they coming with tires?

Haven't updated this in a while. I purchased some used TE37, the specs are 17x9.5 +40 and 17x8.5 +40 in the rear. I'm rocking 255/40/17 & 245/40/17 tires on them. I had to put a 5mm spacer to clear the strut on the fronts.

I gotta find out which ones fit. I want the flat type, but I'm not sure what size I should order.

I do too, but to keep them clean with aftermarket brake pads was a pain.

I put a set of Kleen Wheels dust shields on mine to lower the wheel maintenance.

Even though they are for 17's and I have 18's they work quite well. They have little scoops to pull air inward.
