Hey guys,
I just wanted to thank all of you again for the feedback.
I never really got to doing the drop heh, but I guess it's too late for that now.
I got into an accident the other day, and it's looking like it's not going to be worth fixing up. I am okay though (for those of you wondering). I was turning after my light turned green, and right as I entered the middle of the intersection, a lady, who witnesses say was fixing her makeup, ran the red and rammed directly into me.
I guess I won't be on here too much anymore, but it was really cool seeing everyone's different CL's!
Taken with a low-quality Blackberry camera phone.

Just kidding. I'll definitely let you know if I buy the car back from insurance so I can sell the parts. I'm in Sacramento too, so I'll send you a PM to keep you updated.
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping!

Sorry to hear about the bad luck w/the accident, glad to hear you're ok. Maybe if you don't part it out someone can fix it and give it a chance at another life like I did to my beater

Haha most definitely. I think you guys will have to fight for them lol.
I'm pretty sure there was some frame damage to it. My buddy went to the yard and checked it out, and said the damage was really serious.
Me too I'm just lucky I wasn't hurt though. I appreciate your concern!
I'm hoping for the best man. And if we can't fix it, which would be sad, I would definitely buy it back just to sell parts and stuff.

Hey guys it's been a month since the accident.
The accident was deemed a total loss. There was frame damage, a lot of body work to be done, new paint needed... Seeing that the car was already a salvage title, I decided to contact some of my buddies and get it fixed up.
It cost about 4grand to do everything, and I'm happier with repairing this than getting a different car to be honest. I'm familiar with this one, and it still has less than 70k miles on it!
We pulled out the frame, had it fixed, did some body work, alignment, repainted one side, replaced tie rods, brake sensor, a lot of stuff... but as of now the car looks like it was never in an accident. The paint is perfect, still some chips here and there, but I have a can of paint and I'll do some touch ups when the weather is warmer. Everything looks GOOD!
The wheels are not as clean as they used to be due to some daily driving damage (scratches here and there), and the wheel in the pictured accident has blue paint marks and dents all over it.... so when I get some spare money I'll be powder coating them again if I can find a place that will do them for a good deal.
