Add one more mod to that list.

4-10-2010 - I finally got around to installing my S2k steering wheel. I love it.

Morg, how about the black bezels with the white faces for the gauges, I think that would match up with the stock cluster better....

I got the gauges used, so I didnt get the bezels or the faces. Im actually not keeping this guage setup. Im going for something a bit more stealth

And someone already has dibs on this setup

Btw, that other "stuff" should be delivered to you tomorrow.

I forgot about that lol. Ill be doing some work outside today so Ill try to snap a few pics.

If I have the time, Im going to try to get on the dyno before the intake is installed just to get a baseline. Then again after the install. Im trying to do it later this week. Id love to have the intake in before the Raleigh meet

I like them because theyre not on the a-pillar, which I absolutely cant stand. But, since Im only using one of the gauges it would look stupid to have the pod rebuilt for just one, so instead I will hide it

Lol, Im pretty sure it wouldn't work in the 3G TL. I love the setup, but I want more stealth. I may have the new setup by the Raleigh meet

No, it is definatly a actualy has meaning, this oven is a $10K (new) commercial convection unit with twice the capacity of a typical houshold oven. this will allow much larger parts and the convection portion will provide much more even part heating for a better finish. A hose hold oven would not hold the entire intake with mods, but this will allow the entire intake to be done as a single piece.

I dont the A-pillar pods because thats the first thing people see when they pull up next to you. I dont like the steering column pods because Im only using 1 gauge for it, so its kinda dumb to have it. My new location will be

Thankyou

Got on the dyno today. Mods as of the run are:

-J37 Crank and Rods
-05 RL Pistons
-PnP'd Heads
-KMS Ti Valve springs and retainers
-TL-SHAWD Intake Manifold
-70mm TB
-Icebox CAI
-XS Headers
-CT Axlebacks
-Option Racing Underdrive Pulley
-CM Stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel.
-Stock cat/b-pipe
-Untuned

It was about 75* and 35% humidity at the time of the runs. This was the third run. It was pretty consistent, each run was within 1hp/tq of each other. This was on a Land & Sea dyno, and these are SAE corrected numbers.

Its a bit hard to see the graph, but its 281whp @ 6117rpm and 256wtq @ ~5300rpm.
