There's hope after all.... DIY
The one's that took there emblems off and there was a kind of etched / scratched in outline of the emblems. You cant see mine untill you get close but I still hate it. So here's my solution.
Step 1: Get These Products
Step 2:
Take the polishing compound, dont be shy you'll need a well amount. Then put on with a crossing motion. Like an (X) This is filling the scratches. Then let dry. Then put the Carnuba wax on and let dry. I take it of with a micro-fiber towel but you can use what ever you want. Then the high gloss spray wax is just what Ive been using when I wash my car. High shine baby.
Now dont be scared.. You'll see where you were doing the (X)'s with the compound. But its not like OH MY GOD. You can barley see it. And the Carnuba wax will take that away anyway.
This will take many layers and coats to get the emblem outlines invisible. But Ive been working on it today, have done 3 applications to just the Type-S emblem outline just for a test spot. And sure enough its going away and one or two more layer's I bet it will be invisible the the eye that the outline was even there.
I did ask a detailer if this was good compound/ scratch filler and safe and yes it is he said. Ive been using it on the scratches on my car and they all are disapearing.
If you want to try it out... It's working for me... And I've noticed it works better when its hotter outside.

why would it be through the clear. Its just glued on right? I just debadged and used some compound and degreaser and looks like it was never there. I dont know how the emblem would put scratches in the clear.

I have etching on mine
and yes, it's through the clear. probably a result of hardwater deposits baked in sun trapped in between the album over many many years, which just ate through the paint...
