Those are 19in wheels with a spring drop of 1-1.4in.

Maybe that will help as a reference. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for taking your time to reply to me, you put me down a lot and made me more anxious and nervous than what i already am hahahaha, man I hope i didn't fuck up, I'm new to cars or anything about this subject, if i put 20's without lowering do you think the car is gonna look awkward?? Im already stuck with the rims there is no returning those, but the additional 1350 for lowering i just gave a deposit, do you think this sis a must?

I would lower it still. Maybe an inch.
How wide are the wheels you bought?

8.5 for the front and 10 for the rear.
on the offset information all i see is this "AMG/MED/HPO" have no idea what that means, wow this is going to be a bad week for me as I get the suspension installed next week and until then i won't be able to see finished product, I wanna stay positive and who know maybe I can be the first to put 20's on an ILX and have something nice....

Yeah man, you're definitely pushing boundaries with 20s. Who knows, you might be a pioneer for this though!

Couple things:
1. Your car will be slow as shit now. Those 20s are NOT light.
2. Your car will no longer feel nimble.
3. The ride will become incredibly rough now, due to the rubber band sized tires you're going to be running. You'll feel every road bump since there's no tire sidewall to absorb impacts. The wheels will likely cause premature rattles as well.
4. It will look incredibly silly if you don't lower the car.
5. It may (although I might be completely wrong) look silly even if dropped a bit. Ever see what a car looks like on monster truck tires, lol? You MIGHT be lucky on this one though!
6. Why did you go with a staggered wheel fitment? I would have stuck with the same size wheels and relied on spacers for the back. 10" width on the back sounds huge. Curious to know if you'll have figment issues

If I were you, I would likely cut my losses, do some research and get something a bit smaller and a bit more "normal". But I'm not you, so really, the choice is yours. Either way, I hope whatever you decide ends up working out!

Also, how the hell do you spend $3500 without doing some thorough research?!

20x8.5 may fit under the fenders just fine. Not sure how low you will be able to go. Maybe an inch.

The 20x10 in the rear however will be harder to fit. Nameless people that bitch at me for saying their specs had 10in wide wheels but he had rolled fenders, no fender liner, and camber to make them fit.

Anything is possible OP. It may just take some work.

MED = Medium offset. A medium offset is usually between a +15 and a +45

HPO = High Positive Offset. A HPO is usually an offset that's +45 and higher

There's also something called LPO, or Low Positive Offset which is anything under +15

Not sure about the AMG part, but it could be that these wheels are intended for Mercedes.?

If it's 20x10 with a High Positive Offset, not sure how much inner clearance you'll have. You may rub.

So basically, this will probably work, but now you you will need to pay someone to roll/ possibly shave fenders. And most likely remove the liner. And if you want it to look like a donk - then go ahead and don't lower it. If you want it to look OK - then you HAVE to to lower it.

Your ride quality is gong to be terrible, you will probably have popped tires and short tire life in general.

Im not sure those wheels are even going to fit your car's drill pattern 5x114.3. Those are Mercedes center caps on those wheels. You may have purchased wheels that are (not only) entirely too big for an ILX for any purpose, lowering MPG, takeoff speed, and handling response/safety, but they may literally not be able to even go on to your car at all. The AMG you were referencing is most likely the fact that these were probably drilled for AMG Mercedes.

I don't think he paid $3500 for the wheels, or at least I hope not as they're on eBay for $1500 OBO. Also, I think mechmarine is right. All of the sets I've seen on eBay are 5x112 which will need to be redrilled to fit the Acura ILX.

I paid $3,500 for wheels, tires, and d2 coilovers with installation. This company actually drills the rims after order is placed to fit the car, Im starting to believe I'm gonna be fine and maybe ill need to spend a lil more to get it done right but believe me that ill make it work, just because it hasn't been done before it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Thanks for your input and maybe you are right i will probably have to spend a lil more money to make it work, I'm hoping i don't but if thats the case then i guess its gonna have to get done. Im not really to concerned about take off speed or handling and overall I'm a responsible driver and not into speeding or nothing like that, worse case scenario ill sell the rims and buy new ones.

You can still use the coilovers. Maybe get some money back for the labor they'd be doing. If the wheels are only 1500, abort mission and move on.

Well if you did this all through a shop, thats kinda bullshit, they shouldnt be selling you stuff like this without fully explaining what it takes to fit. I honestly would say go somewhere else or just refuse to take the wheels. As far as I see it, the worst case scenario is they make you pay a restocking fee, that sucks, but then you'll be free to buy something that makes more sense. Even if you want 20's, the width just seems way too much, especially in the back. Even with rolled fenders and stuff, you'll probably still rub a lot... honestly... Probably 9.5 is the biggest you should go in the rear, unless you want herrafrush look, then you're gonna need aftermarket adjustable camber arms now.

I saw it online - doesn't look bad as is, but then now i have to say it will rub when lowered, and how low will he actually be able to get it with that big and wide of a wheel? An inch or an inch an a half? Probably should have just gotten springs.
Unless he does Herrafrush look... Not a fan....But if he's happy, Ive said enough, Ill shut up now.

Sounds like the salesman at that shop is working hard towards a promotion, keeping sales up... on top of his commission...

Its not about the salesman getting a promotion or not, its that I work my ass hard to do things the right way, I decided i wanted to go with coilovers instead of just cheap ass springs. I mean we all have diff taste you seem to love the chrome i think you ruined your car with that chrome outline, but if it makes you happy ill just shut up. Thanks!

Lot of heat in this thread LOL
Coils- right way to go.. you can adjust the height to your liking instead of what springs give you. I think the setup is quite decent, looks like you will have about 1 1/2" max drop without rubbing issues but i'm just guessing from the pics, plus it depends on how low you want to go. Keep in mind you may need a rear camber kit to keep your rears in alignment spec, may be ok up front as long you dont go too low. Or you can do a minimal drop and add a lip kit to make it look lower as well
