i dont suggest you do it wiht hte stock shocks... maybe you have seen that people have dropped on comptechs with stock shocks ONLy because comptech had a more subtle drop before (the silver springs- ones known for rusting) .. i have those springs and they were a 1.0/1.25" dorpp which was Very subtle... even then i changed my shocks just to save the money on labor..
As far as the 2" drop with the new comptech sport springs, i relaly think u should change ur shocks while you at it.. dont know how the ride is on the 2" drop but hte ones i have- the ride is great... if u have any questoins let me know

Looks good but the ride sucks..
Mr T,
I did this same thing on my 2002 TLS for awhile (change the springs to CT and left everything the same) and this is the report:
The look will be fine for you will have a racking looks with the front a little lower.
You will never bottom out, so you do not need to worry about this.
The stock struts will not support the new spring range and you will actually get a softer ride where the car will keep on rolloing after a bump. I other words you will oscillate more and damping less.
If the funds are available, I will suggest that you do the CT springs with struts (I have koni yellows) and a CT sway bar. The ride will be night and day and I should of done this when I got the car. Try to do this in 1 shot for the labor adds up if you do this in pieces.
