My 14 Audi A6 I did Michelin AS/3 but they were expensive and were toast with less 15K miles. I switched to DWS06 and loves them. Put them on my 15 TLX as well.

On summers cracking, someone put in the word SOME & will agree with that. Been driving on OEM & replacement summer performance exclusively since 2004, Michelin, Continental, Yokohama & NITTO. Mounted on Acura, BMW, COBRA, Genesis & Porsche. Not a crack in the lot. Only downside is they wear faster than regular tires & are totally useless on snow or ice.

For something more balanced, Continental DSW06. But since you have FWD, why is all seasons a must?
First winter on the AS3+, and as much as it pains me to agree with you, they are crap in the snow. I have them mounted on a company car, and I found out how bad they are when I had to go into an unplowed neighborhood with approx. 4in of snow on the roads. Needless to say I got stuck. I was lucky enough to be able to roll back and take a different, downhill route. With my guardian angel on my shoulder, I found a way to get back on the main, plowed road. Definitely won't put these on the TLX when I'm ready for new tires.
