Question 2021 TLX/SH-AWD/A-SPEC Spare?

I have a 19" Donut Spare, for my 2018/A-SPEC; if I upgrade to the 2021, can I utilize the spare in the new vehicle?
They both have 19" rims

Here, I'll teach you.

First, you gotta figure out your Lug nut pattern. Which is 114x5. Then Figure out the hub size. which is 64.1mm.
Then you gotta figure out the new car's lug nut pattern. Which is 114x5. Then figure out the hub size, which is 64.1mm.

the two cars have exactly the same wheel specs. Yes, you can use the spare.
I used www.wheel-size.com to find the specs

it will fit but i dont think there is space in the trunk for it since the battery is now there. when are you going to upgrade? lease numbers are crazy since the car just came out. My lease is up and they are telling me mid 6 i rather go bmw with those prices. i have to see if my light weight wheels will fit the 340

The spare will probably fit, but Acura told me the spare tire kit will not. I had the spare tire kit in my 2018 TLX, but Acura parts told me the new kit is smaller to fit in the well above the battery.

2021 tlx spare tire kit

Does anyone have the instructions on installing the TLX spare tire kit? I have the parts layout but am missing some information.
Also not sure if the compressor that comes with the car with fit in the "Box Tool" which is the spacer below the cover.

Good morning; Kind of Pissed right now; I've leased 7 Acuras since '98; they always gave me the Pull ahead program, to knock 5 or 6 lease payments off, the current vehicle, if you leased the newer model. Now, that program is for all Acuras EXCEPT the 2021 TLX; what balls; they raise the price of the car $5,000, & treat their current lessors like dirt! Someone mentioned a 2021 TLX Bridge Program. I called Corporate, & AHFC; they claim it's a RANDOM offer to specific customers; what am I, dog meat?it's a $1,500 incentive for current TLX owners, to get into a 2021. Anyway, if things don't change, $47,500, is ridiculous for a 4 cylinder AWD A-SPEC. Have to look at BMW, Genesis, & Audi; HORRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATIONS

I'm sorry you had to go through this. It's the unfortunate fact for Acura buyers now. Check out other brands and see what works best for you. Best of luck my friend!

If you can wait, I'd wait. Since I checked on Monday, the 5 dealers in my area have all increased their inventory of '21 TLXs. I'm assuming they're not moving terribly well. Maybe in the dead of winter when all car sales take a nosedive, you'll be able to get the lease offer you want. But, don't be apprehensive to shopping around either. From the lease offers I've seen so far, you could probably get into a higher tier German variant as opposed to the TLX. I'm seeing people lease M340i xDrives for $550-599/mo ... and that vehicle will literally embarrass a 2G TLX. With leasing, reliability won't be an issue. Even still, Toyota was fond enough of the B58 to put their reputation on the line with it in their Supra, so it's probably well put together. Best of luck.

Saw the car on Sunday; there is a fitted space, under the battery cover, that fits the spare perfectly!
I've decided on either White/Red/SH-AWD/ASPEC, or Grey Metallic/Red/SH-AWD/ASPEC
Whichever becomes available 1st, I'm all in
Dealer made me an "offer I can't refuse"
I'm dealing with the owner/GM, who made the lease easy to accept
When I close the deal, I'll reveal the stats; trust me, I'm ECSTATIC!

Sorry to hear that. My dealership was willing to give me nearly $3k off MSRP on a 2021 A-Spec (based on a Truecar email) if I financed at the national program of 1.9% APR. I ended up with a 3 yr, 10k mile/year lease with $5k to dealer that worked out to less than $450/month. Let me also add that they said the same to me about not having a pull-ahead program for the newer TLX since I had a 2018 MDX with 3 lease payments remaining. They ended up buying out the MDX from Acura for the 3 remaining payments to keep as a car on their lot to sell pre-owned. Since I'm new, I might not be able to accept DM's but I could probably devote a new thread based on this experience!

Wouldn’t surprise me as the TLX is a complete rehaul.

I just read this entire thread all over again, and no one has really confirmed that the 2018 TLX donut will fit the 2021 TLX. Everyone posted in this thread is looking for confirmation, but there ain't one.

Justnspace used www.wheel-size.com to find the specs, which is 5x114.3. However, you use www.wheel-size.com and find instead 5x120.

Therefore, the info there may not be correct, and so not to be trusted.

It is best to go and find the factory release OEM specs, or go to a dealership, or ask a new TLX owner to help measure the actual bolt pattern size.

SPARE TIRE UPDATE:
Forget it; tried putting my brand new Donut, from my 2018, 19" TLX, into my Brand New 2021 TLX ASPEC
It will NOT fit in the trunk, over THE BATTERY
Service Mgr, tried everything; no use; sold the spare for $10 to one of the Service techs; lol
As I've stated before, tire insurance, is a must, included in any lease deal in NYC!
Only real potential problem is a blow-out, or sidewall tears
At that point, a tow is your only option
Anyway, LOVE my new TLX/ASPEC SHAWD!

If it makes you feel better there is a fair chance that it would not have worked anyways. Unless the dealer has definitively told you that the 2021 tlx is also 5x114.3.

Thanks to EE4Life. EE4Life has provided the factory instructions for the installation of 2021 Acura TLX 19 Inch Aluminum Wheel.

The wheel spec is 5x120.

Also, Acura has pulled the "Spare tire option" from the 2021 TLX accessory order list.

So it is highly likely that the car cannot carry a spare tire at all.

Also CPR should fire the service manager who tried to put a 1g tlx donut into a 2g tlx trunk. Imagine it fit then you get a flat and have to use it only to find out it doesn't work due to having a different bolt pattern.
