So I traded in my 2013 TL for a 2021 TLX A-Spec and I love it. However, I’m really hating the windshield wipers. There seems to be a noticeable pause between swipes even when on hi. As it’s been quite rainy lately this has
been a serious issue for me bc by the time they swipe again, the windshield is covered in rain obstructing view. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to fix this?

Also, while on the subject of rain, the backup cam is pretty much useless as it’s always covered in droplets.

 

Ever consider treating the windshield with something like RainX?

You also have to consider that the rain has been much worse than usual due to climate change. If this proves to be lasting, then all cars may need to improve wiper technology.

 

I haven't really noticed the pause, but I agree with ELIN. Use some RainX and it won't be a concern. If it's applied correctly, you won't even need wipers above 40 mph!
