Rear emblems

Not sure if it qualifies as a modification, but I replaced the rear emblems to the darker chrome.

Looks great. Looks into getting the emblems from Acura and they were super expensive. I heard the price went up.

Where did you get the emblems?

Pain in the rear, the glue part sucked with a razor blade so I used my Shun paring knife to separate it. Did not disconnect the battery.

Pleas help> I was doing the A emblem and my dumbass disconnected the latch switch and closed my truck and couldn't open it but I cured out how to open from inside.

But my main thing is how did u pull that whole trim off? I cant figure it out. I tried pushing on the clips but I thing the tape on the bottom is holding it and won't allow u to pull from the sides even if u push the clips in. Such as pain in the ass. I gotta take to my acura buddy tomorrow to figure it out and I don't have that 5mm tape anyway

At first I didn’t know about the tape and I tried pulling out the panel but. I’m thinking that ok the 2 bolts first then the adhesive needs to be cut across the bottom and third is popping all the clips from the inside and pulling at the same time?

It's been a while since I have done this but after I cut the tape I placed some wedges in there to keep it from gluing again and then popped it out. The tape was the nightmare part here

did u have to push the clips from the inside with pliers or did u just pull on it and it all came off? also did u buy the tape from dealer or u found something similar from parts store.
