I've seen a few threads but the links are blocked, just looking for some basic insight into the 21 TLX downpipe removal? I"m sure it's simple enough, just a few tips would help to make things come out a bit easier or quicker.

I replaced the downpipe on my FK8 Civic Type R previously and I would assume the job is similar but not identical. I would say the most crucial part is removing the hardware holding the downpipe flange to the turbine housing of the turbo - you want to make sure you don’t break any of the bolts or screws. It’s recommended you soak the hardware with a penetrating oil that will help loosen the hardware. If it helps, look up the Type R downpipe videos on YouTube to get an overall idea of the job. It’s not too difficult if you have previous experience wrenching on a vehicle.
