Dynamic Mode

I always want my 2022 TLX SH-AWD to always be in Sport mode. There seems to be no way of doing that- every time I turn the car off and restart it reverts to normal mode. Am I doing something wrong?

You’re not doing anything wrong. It’ll always revert to normal mode upon shut down if you were using Sport/Sport+/Custom. Only Normal and Comfort modes will stay as you left them.

That's not a good feature. I should be able to set it to stay in one mode. Thanks anyway.

Agree. All TLX owners are with you, except Honda.

If Honda America allowed the car to stay in Sport+ it would adversely impact their CAFE numbers. If you don't like it then write to your legislative rep and ask/demand that the EPA restrictions be relaxed... and that's not going to happen.

Or take the 5 seconds to change to Sport mode. Better still, set Individual Mode to sport settings, so that a simple press of the Dynamic Mode button puts you effectively into Sport Mode.

At least we don't have to "Accept" the stupid Legal Disclaimer every time we start the car like I have to do on my 2021...... that being said, I still have to push the Dynamic Mode button to get to Individual (Sport) mode every time I get into the car.

Gee, I do the same thing everytime I start mine. Takes what, 1 second to do, please stop, that 1 second is just too much for you and everybody else here.

I’ve installed the idle stopper in my wifes 2021 TLX and my 2022 MDX Type S Advance. It works great in both vehicles! It changes both our modes to “individual” mode within 3-4 seconds upon startup.

What I'd like more is for the brake hold mode to be on every time I start the car.
