Window Tint Darkness Opinions

Window Tint Darkness Opinions
Hi all,
I am pretty sure I am going to pull the trigger tomorrow on a 2023 TLX Aspec (Performance red w/ebony interior). I currently have a 21' RDX Aspec, but I am looking to get into a sedan. Acura is offering me a much better deal then I would have anticipated, so I think I am going to go TLX again.
I did drive the TLX, BMW 330i X Drive, and the Lexus IS 350 F-Sport. I wasn't impressed with the BMW. The Lexus is really nice, but I prefer the looks of the TLX. I also felt like the TLX handled better in the corners.
I was able to get the dealership to throw in window tint among other things into the deal. I am debating if I want to go 20% all the way around or 35%. I am not worried about getting pulled over, I just don't know how dark I want to go. I prefer the "blacked-out" look, but it definitely makes the night drive more challenging. I also want a uniformed look, so I don't plan on doing the rear different than the fronts.
How dark did all of you go? Could you possibly provide a picture of your car with the tint?
Thanks much!

Mine came with tints from the dealership so I’m not sure what exact percentage they are. I’d say they are 30%. It is a bit dark at night for driving but manageable in low-lit areas.

Got ceramic 35% all around except for front windshield. Makes it somewhat darker from the outside and doesn’t compromise much if any visibility from the inside. Highly recommend.
PS. Ignore old/rusty plate. Been replaced with a custom one - in a carbon frame with plastic tinted screen

I have 40% because legal limit is 35% and the 3M Crystalline Film was in 10% increments. The heat stays out except for the windshield which I never tinted but I’m thankful as I’ve had two replacements due to high speed rocks coming at me even when far back.

Those Illinois plates sure are ugly. That’s why I upgraded 😎

I get it, PC to stop you. I am a former police officer. I know most of the police officers in this area, so I don't really worry about being hassled. To be honest, though, I had my RDX front windows at 20% for 2 years. As you know, the Aspec Blue definitely stands out. However, I never had any issues and I had multiple cops behind me throughout my RDX ownership.
