Type S Spare Tire Kit..from Acura!

There is also a label that goes on the spare wheel that's listed as one of the parts with the kit. It's called: Label, Spare Tire Caution (T-type) (English)

OK...my bad. You are correct. My head was in too many other places with numbers, etc, etc.
Here are the tire diam. of all 3 TLX tire sizes along with the spare tire size and diam, and wheel size. Once and for all we'll or I'll get this straight. The label is the only difference, at this point I know of
that makes the Part #'s different.
18" OEM TLX tire size: 235/50/18...27.3" diam.
19" OEM TLX tire size: 255/40/19...27" diam.
20" OEM TLX tire size 255/35/20...27" diam.
Spare Tire Size: 145/60/20...............26.9"
Spare wheel size: 20x4.5
So, that allows the same spare wheel and spare tire to be used safely on all TLX OEM tire sizes, as a TEMPORARY SPARE....yes, you are correct.
Sorry, I messed up and wanted to clarify for all those that read these specs. I was sorta mislead by unnamed folks that the Type S needed that Part # for 20", but, that as I realize now was only
for getting the correct labeling for tire size on car, tire pressure for the spare, etc.
The labels do have their own Part #'s so, yes, one could order any of the 3 kits and order the 20" label Part # to make it all good. I don't know if the other 2 Part #'s are more readily available...NOW,
vs the 20" Part #...????
So, there are a couple more ways around this issue of getting a kit....possibly. At least I did get one...delivering FedEx to my dealer sched. for Monday.

Got tired of waiting for the 20" kit for my Type S, the date kept getting pushed each time I called to find out about it.
I asked the parts dept about the 18" kit, 06421-TGV-A01, they were able to get it the next day, which is also cheaper than the 20" kit. Also ordered the spare tire.
Had to get the tire mounted to the wheel, was only $20.
All said and done, costed under $400. Very easy to install.

Very nice. How long did you wait for the 20" kit before giving up and getting 18" version? I placed an order around 10 days ago and was told they expect the part be available sometime around mid-April.

This whole thing is insane. I know I'm just an engineer and not a marketing genius, but I'd just have one kit in the logistics chain, with all three stickers. Pick the one for your wheel size. What would the two extra stickers cost? Ten Cents??

Does the 18 kit comes with an T145/60R20 tire? That's what I can distinguish on the tire. I personally have the kit but I'm struggling to get the tire here on Canada side.

None of the kits come with the tire, it needs to be ordered separately. Once I got it, I took it to a tire shop to have the tire mounted.

sorry my questions was a bit misleading. What size is the rim of the spare tire for the A-Spec ? I know that Type S one is 20inch. The tire you mounted seems to be the right spec for the TypeS T145/60R20.
So did the dealer sold you the right spare tire kit for the type S or the A-Spec spare tire uses a 20" spare? but I don't think you can fit T145/60R20 tire on a 18" or, did you post a wrong picture?.
The other question that comes to mind is, does the 18" spare clear the Type S brembos?

Alright, my order arrived today, quite a bit sooner than I expected. Based on what others were saying I thought the tire would not be mounted on the rim. To my surprise the wheel arrived assembled and inflated! The plastic battery cover and the foam block were inserted into wheel's cavity and couple cardboard pieces were taped around the wheel (package #1). The second package was a large thin box with the jack, foam trunk tray, metal bracket (battery holder?..) and some small bits and pieces. Total cost with shipping was around $347, not too bad

Hey all, I have been reading this thread from the beginning and out of shear laziness, I don't want to go back and read the entire thing again. I have a '23 type s that I would like to order the entire kit online from. I would like to do the 20" kit even if it takes a while to get here. Has anyone ordered this and could provide me a link to just go order it and be done? I would greatly appreciate it.

Update:
4/30/22 – Ordered Spare Tire Kit (STK) from Curry Acura, Part No. 06421-TGZ-A00, $214.68. On back-order.
5/23/22 – STK shipped via FedEx [overnight shipping]
5/23/22 – Ordered spare tire from Tire Rack, T145/60R-20 CONTINENTAL SCONTACTSL, $263.83
5/25/22 – Received spare tire.
6/2/22 – STK finally arrives after ten days of address confusion on the part of FedEx driver.
6/7/22 – STK installed by Hunt Valley Acura, $91.
No photos because it looks identical to ones posted by Camaro 194. Three tips: (1) unpack STK box; parts and tire will then fit in the trunk, (2) print-out installation instructions; leave in trunk, and (3) Ask for return of tire inflator kit.

Thanks a million sir! Did you order yours from the stealership or online? I'm curious where the other guy got his online that showed with a tire already on it. I've got two littles and just have no spare time these days and looking to do a one stop shop. That being said, if it's substantially cheaper to do it the way you did, that fine. I really appreciate the info!
