Yes. Same center core, and wheel looks the same but adds the heating element. Worth it in my book, even if it's "gentle warm" and not as toasty as other cars I've had.
I always have it on, and love it. Had it added by the dealer before taking delivery.
The only issue I’ve read is it always has red stitching, so it wouldn’t mesh with an Orchid interior car.

Thank you, it is on my list to have installed prior to delivery.
Does it automatically turn on if you Remote Start using the FOB or Acuralink?

No, unfortunately. It's not a setting or way of operation. I'll remote start the car, then just tap the button upon entry. Acura remote start doesn't seem to have been designed like some brands (like my Jeep) to allow you to have these features turn on with remote start vs. the outside temperature.

I’d guess it’s the same as the First Gen TLX. The remote start does turn on the heated steering wheel (if it’s cold enough outside) but when you get in and push Start the heated wheel turns off. You have to turn it back on to continue heating. If you get in too soon after remote starting, you probably won’t notice the heat and then it turns off so it feels like nothing happened.
