For those with the Black Chrome TYPE S emblems....

Did you install them yourself? If so, how were you sure you lined them up exactly as the old ones were? If the dealership installed them for you, I have basically the same question. How do they make sure they are perfectly symmetrical? Thanks!

I had the dealer install them. But here’s what you do. Get blue (or any color) painters tape and tape around the current emblems. Then you remove the current emblems and install the new ones within the blue tape section you created prior to removing the factory installed ones.

Yup, masking tape is your friend. Also, based on the installation instructions some of them come with templates for easier alignment. Keep in mind that to replace the front emblem the bumper has to come off (thanks Acura). And for the Acura logo in the back you have to disassemble the trunk lid cover / internals.

Thanks for the replies, I'm personally going to pass on these. I'd rather not have parts of my car disassembled just to put on slightly different emblems. If they popped in and out, maybe. They do look nice though!

well, if you’re gonna go with emblems go with OEM only. I have a white car with black emblems and they do look awesome, although my car came like this so I didn’t have to do it myself but I’ve seen people replace them and it’s not difficult at all, just need a little patience and pretty much everyone can put them on neatly

just use painters tape for the fenders and truck. The front grill just pry off and don't take apart the bumper that's pointless. The trunk A is a pain in the ass and I told myself id never do it again. GL
