I used to pet my 535 as I passed it in the garage. At the three year mark, I said to myself I would have to turn you in if I leased.
I never lease.

What do you think of this front splitter? That would be the one thing I'd like to get (along with lowering springs)

^^^ Yes! They make this for TLX's with the aero kit and without the aero kit.

Aftermarket vendors are always more thoughtful than the OEM.
It makes me want to take off the OEM splitter, and installed this "front aero + splitter" combination on my car now.

This was the reply I got when I asked if their splitter will accommodate the factory kit:
Hope this helps!
“Hi
The splitter is actually the same if you have or if you don’t have the factory lip. But on our website we are asking because the winglets are not available if you have the factory lip, it would be too close that’s why we need to know.
This splitter fits in oem holes, and comes with provided hardware. We provide longer bolts that fit into the M6 nuts under the car and spacers so the splitter sits flat. Installation and assembly guide is provided with it too.
Thank you”
This splitter was one of the aftermarket parts I had my eye on since I got my A-Spec back in August. Gotta love the aftermarket Mfr’s that utilize the original holes for ease of installation. Of course shipping to Hawaii is always an obstacle…Hope this helps!

^^^ Thanks for posting those extra pictures. I'm trying to decide whether to buy this front splitter or wait for more aftermarket Vendors to come up with other options.

No problem. Artwork Bodyshop recently released their full splitter kit (front, sides, & rear) for the TLX Type-S. I believe S-Factor Fabrication also released a full splitter kit for the 2G TLX and when I inquired with G4Werks, they mentioned they are coming out with a front splitter as well. I've looked into other vendors that manufactured splitter/diffusers for my RSX (i.e. Devsport, TOP1 Motors, etc.) but haven't seen any reveals as of yet...unless they're still undergoing R&D.

Car Crazy for Sure!
Ok guys, I've been busy....if you know me from previous, the mod bug has bitten me badly.
First, got new Vossen wheels today!
Here is the Vossen wheels I got. They are one inch wider at all 4 corners 9.5 inches wide. Forged wheels, the offset is 40 (OEM is 50)....
I even splurged and got the fancy red-trimmed center caps!
They match the spiffy red valve stem caps!
I even found a nice, inexpensive red key fob cover!
Updated family photo.....
They guys at Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City loved the red trim on the front grill. I added a little on the side-view mirrors.....

I would do the splitter but I'd be so afraid of inadvertently trashing it on a parking block. But, it looks fantastic!

Hey guys,
What does it generally cost to do the all round lower aero in carbon wrap?

Wow. Front aero piece + front splitter + fog lights. I love this setup so much.
Now your TLX looks even better than the OEM Type-S front end.

I personally would lose all the red striping, but if you wanted the "OEM Plus" look (eg. like the CTR, Hyundai N, Subaru Sport lines), then I would only keep the red strip on the lowest front lip and perhaps the side skirt/rear spat region.

OK, so I did a thing....I got winglets!
I had them wrapped in the same Carbon Fiber as everything else. Swoosh and I installed them....I like them-they're growing on me. They definitely give the TLX a much more aggressive look.

^^^ Hopefully not...they were $38, so if something happens, it's not expensive to replace. These are screwed on to the underside of the car-they feel very stable and firm.
