Im finalizing my accessories list for my Type S due for delivery on the 30th and have had a hard time finding an Apex Blue TLX with the black chrome emblem package. Does anyone have it that could post some pictures? Looks good on white and Red, but im not sure im going to like it on Blue.

Can you guys explain to me the appeal of black chrome?

It looks so understated that I would probably rather not have logos at all!

It really depends on the colour, it pops more then silver on colours like white and red. On Blue and black i do agree it is less catching. It looks really good on midwest’s RDX, but doesnt pop the same as on lighter colours. I dont think i will be getting it on mine but i certainly see the appeal in it. More of a mean look.

Thanks! Agreed that on different paint colors, the black chrome would have more appeal.

My thinking was with the darker wheels, darker trim the darker emblems match a bit better. If someone prefers the silver wheel colors then the original emblems would be a better match. That was my thinking anyways. Either way it’s good to have choices so owners can do what they like best.

The dealer would install these correct? Personally, they should have just made these standard for the Type S. I will probably ask to swap them out on mine.

Saw a blue TLX A-spec with dark badges. Looks very sharp on the blue color, and the dark chrome Acura logo somehow still contrasts well with the black insert.

RDX is one of my favorite looking SUV’s especially in that color. Very nice!

The black chrome emblems and other exterior "black items" are Accessories. Look on the Acura web site where you build your Type S. All of the
items are there. You can get a black carbon fiber spoiler, a lower diffuser....a black lower body side sill accent trim, black lugs....etc, etc. Dealer
will install....of course. You can get mud guards in either black or body color too. So....go build your Type S...or any TLX with the way you want
it to look.

I agree on the Apex Blue. I'm having a hard time choosing between that and a white one. Grrrrrr.......!!!
