I really wish Hondata would have committed to tuning the J30AC. Maybe with this video and the potential for some big power, they'll rethink their stance.
But, how much power can the upgraded 10AT and SH-AWD system handle? That will be the biggest question mark(s).

I haven't yet seen anything on the J30ACs. In addition to the additional main caps, the water cooling jacket around the periphery of the bores is significant different compared to the J30A4. It's interesting there are additional knock sensors, the presence of a squirter, the connecting rod he's show casing looks aftermarket not factory though, the water pump looks virtually the same but curiously Honda used a different fastener pattern, however to the eyeball the location for the timing belt tension fastener patterns do look the same. And would appear the head from the Type S fits the legacy J30 series.
