thanks for the input it is either between the AA or the Motorola. I read however that the AA discharges the battery and should be unplugged when not in use.

 

On my daily driver 2020 MDX and the 2021 loaner TLX, I've never had to unplug AAwireless.

I presume Acura cuts the power to the USB port after 30 seconds or so of shutdown. Not sure but I never had issues with battery drain.

 

I am hoping also that all will be good when I install the spare tire kit 06421-TGV-A01 and this it all fits nicely under the trunk floor. I will report on whether it works or does not work. I also purchased the TPMS for the winter tires I don't have as of yet. 42753-T3R-A04

I can report that the spare tire kit installed perfectly under the floor, all done in about 20 minutes. Just have to get and install the rubber donut tire and I am all done!
The TPMS should work as well and for our Canadian friends these are on the same frequency as Canada 433 and I purchased all 4 for just about the price of one from my local dealer. I wont know for sure if they work until the fall but I am confident.
