TLX tires..which ones?

I took my first test drive in a TLX Advance with the Bridgestone. The car was quiet and had a smooth drive. I brought the wife back for the second test drive.

The second test drive was with the 19inch Michelins. Wow! What a difference. The Michelins tires are so much louder on the road and they felt so hard--I suspect the grip would be great. However, in the sub-zero cold, no tire would have good grip. We then test drove the 2.4L with the Goodyear, which has a lot more rubber, felt softer, and was quieter.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to retest the Bridgestone, as they couldn't find a TLX Adv with the Potenza on to be sure that my memory was correct.

Is the Bridgestone Potenza a good performing tire compared to the Goodyear Eagles?

Also, why would Acura use 2 different tires in the same model of car? Admittedly, the SH-AWD is slightly different from the 2.4L and the FWD V6, but why so different in tires?

Lastly, which tires are used on the Acura? I couldn't find the right Bridgeston Potenza tire....

Tx

The 19's were a dealer accessory which are 245/40R19 so lower profile = harder ride but better grip. The stock tires are OK but they should be a bit wider. For the TLX they should be 235/50R17 and 245/45R18

first, its winter time.

an all season rubber compound will not play nice under 40 degrees fahrenheit

a summer tire compound DEFINITELY wont play nice under 40 degrees.

Do you guys know which Bridgestone Potenza Acura uses? On the Bridgestone website, there are several Potenzas...and they all appear to be different.
