on the flip side, if the 80 mile daily commute and getting a full 30-40K miles out of your sets of tires were your main focus, the last car you lowered should have been the last one you lowered.

No way around it, camber kit and all...especially on my TL...I feel like even with my corrected camber/toe...I've never gotten more than 12-15K miles out a set. It's too close to threshold and when I sit in it and it squats, it burns tires.

Non-lowered is the way to go.

Yep, but I couldn't stand how it looked stock I'd be happy to get 15-20k on these tires. That's just the way it goes with lowered cars.

Hey Advan031, did you install the coilovers or have a shop do it? I'm in socal also and looking to have a set installed. If you had a shop do it, would you mind sharing what shop did it and the experience you had with them? Thanks, appreciate it!

From looking at his photos posted before. I think he went to Evasive Motorsports in Santa Fe Springs. They do good work, I been there once with my other car.

Saw it on IG. I goto West Ends for my alignments as well. Those guys do great work there.

Lowering 1 inch like you did doesn't look too bad. Looks like it settled a little more.

Changed the dampening settings to 13 clicks from full soft in the front and 14 clicks from full soft in the rear. At this setting the ride is still pretty good for street driving.

I'm gonna go up to 20F/25R and see how it drives on the street and go to a small track here in SoCal (AMP) next week and see how it handles

Hey advan did you ever mess with the dampening again? Also did you do the adjustment on the coils?

Yes, I did go up to 12 front and 10 rear for the street. I rant 32 front and 30 rear at the track and it was great but not so much on the street.

Post pics of the coilers themselves installed on the car, with detail. Everyone has seen a lowered car, the coilers themselves are whats cool....unless you are getting some nice wheels as well.
