Lightbulb Anyone Put Eibach Pro-Kits on the TLX V6? Camber kit?

I really want to lower my 18' TLX A-Spec and pretty much only looking at the Eibach Pro-Kits for a website estimated 1.5"/1.0" drop. They "highly recommend" the adjustable rear camber kit, but that's another half grand so that's got me on the fence. Unfortunately the other set of Pro-Kits they have for a mild 1.0"/0.7" drop that does require the rear camber kit is only for the 2.4L TLX which I assume is because of different tuned shocks or dampers, idk.

Has anyone else have experience in putting in the Eibach Pro-Kits or any other lowering springs on a V6 TLX? Any issues with the stock shocks/dampers or bad camber tire wear?

I got the Eibach springs, my rear camber now is -2 degrees, can’t tell you on tire wear cause I only drove 500 miles since I installed the springs. So far very happy, no more wheel gap.

Camber doesnt actually wear tires.
out of spec TOE wears out tires.

for my generation TL; the camber spec is up to -1.7.... and I think my lowering springs did bring it out to -2... aint hurt a thing

Back from the dead.

How was your tire wear without the camber kit?

well when I lowered the car, the car had only 1400 miles. Now the car has close to 4000 miles and tires look with no tire wear.

So no camber kit needed in your opinion?

well now the rear is -2, I might have some inner tire wear in the future. Also depends how you drive, how are the roads in your area and how much you drive the car, if you drive let’s say 20k miles a year I would get the rear camber kit.

have you checked the tire wear? Just lowered mine on H&R and have -2 rear camber. Curious on needing camber kit due to tire wear. I might start a new thread about my car and post pics along with my alignment results paper.

Thanks
